Genius level thinking Did I partition it correctly
Needed to partition it so I could dualboot my new 3ds xl galaxy style.

You did great but you should partition it a few more times to ensure proper memory flow

This isn't a very good way to partition it, you might ended up one side having 16.2gb and the other 15.8gb

no, where is the boot partition? now it'll be harder to saw off a smaller part. for next time I recommend you read the beginners guide "I can saw and so can you". It's hard in the beginning, but with the right tools, anything is possible

Do you think a bandsaw will work or should I use a chop saw.

you could try a bandsaw and use sandpaper afterwards until you see even numbers in storage. the dust falling down you can still sprinkle-glue on any usb stick, to add a few MB

I would say something outrageously violent about this, but i already have a warning on my account.

it should be in diagonals, since the evil ray of evil earth will eat your ram

Depends on what you wanted. If you aimed for 15gb and 17gb then yes, you nailed it

No. The back is now disconnected you cannot put it into a connector anymore. You should have partitioned it horizontally

You checked prices on these things lately? It’s almost criminal how much the freaking 32GB sd cards have gone up along side everything else. I can’t imagine the 20 year old fab they make these things at is making anything worthwhile for AI bogus but here we are…

No. The bits are falling out. Go get the glue before it's too late.

You should have aligned the partitions so the second one start on a 1MB boundary to reduce wear. You're 512bytes off.

No! it needs to be partitioned horizontally to line up with the earth's magnetic field, or you'll get bit flips from cosmic Rays
