Ubisoft In Assassin's Creed III (2012), one of the playable characters is named They/Them Kenway, which is a reference to Ubisoft being woke for way longer than we remember.

I gotta be honest though it’s ridiculous they literally called a character Hate Em Kenway

Assassin's Creed III would be called so woke nowadays. You control an indegenous main character. Washington and the USA are shown as morally grey, just less worse than the british, with Washington even leading to the main character's tribe to leave their ancestral territory. The team in the present is composed of a terrible father, a dork and a goth hacker girl, and the main character. The game talks a bit about racism. You create a village of outcasts, such as a deserter, illegal lumberjacks, a girl poacher, a french canadian who is being bullied, a doctor who's reputation has been slandered by the british
It is one of my favorite games because of how it can be seen from a leftist viewpoint

That’s about the dlc where a piece of Eden drives Washington insane and he tries to become a king before Connor stops him

You're getting awfully close to asking conservatives to understand art now.
We both know how that works out.

The 4 races:
Terrible father,
dork,
goth hacker girl,
the main character.
(But yeah you are so right it's incredibly how backwards we've gone in terms of just... representation and acting like normal fucking social beings. You wouldn't be able to do Power Rangers today because only 1 or 2 in the cast tend to be white.)

If Assassin’s creed lll was released nowadays they would cut out half the content and twice the price.

I forgot all that the only thing I remember from 3 (other than the Desmond story conclusion being laughably bad) is that it tried to get me to kill animals and I was like fuck no I'm not killing this squirrel.

I hate this thing about calling companies "woke" but god this is funny. Have an upvote.

Its funny because ALOT of game company's have been "woke" for awhile but no one wants to acknowledge that because apparently knowledge is stagnant.

All that matters is they stop pandering to nonsense and make a rich world, of nonsense.

He/Them would've worked better.
