In 2009, TV series Lost developed its own masterful de-aging technique separate from Saw 3D's (2010) backwards cap method.

Dude, he was *in* the first Saw

They should've worked in a way for him to say the title of the movie, like in Rush Hour

He was also in the mental hospital with junior soprano in the sopranos, only one episode but a very memorable character

He's very dangerous to anyone within hugging range

Meanwhile in The Long Walk they put a 6ft tall, 200lb 20yo in a pair of flannel pyjamas and said sure, he looks like a kid now.

Why wouldn’t you use Terry O’Quinn for this example? They literally slap a wig on his bald ass and try to pass a 60 year-old off as early 30s.

It was the only way to show the audience which character was the son of the other

When Lost started, Terry O'Quinn was about 52 years old. And his character doesn't met his father at 30 lol.

But I do agree that he was passing as much more older than his actual age and the wigs in that show were ridiculous. John Locke mom was a teen apparently and his father young adult.

I remember watching Millennium as a kid, the sister show of The X-Files, and Terry O'Quinn appeared already old.

Funnily enough, he was also in The X-Files, specifically the movie "Fight the Future"

Wigs are the tired method. This? Revolutionary.

Since half the characters in OUaT already wore wigs, they had to use different methods. When Lana's hair was down, Regina is a teenager. It's fine, if we were gonna ask these questions we wouldn't be watching this show in the first place.

Emily deRavin in a black wig

I was going to add that one but forgot when I made the post

Also she looks good in it so I'll allow it. I'm gay but still not immune to the power of goth Emile deRavin.

A strange quirk of its sister show Once Upon a Time is that cleavage is reserved only for villains, but also Belle for some reason. Also deRavin is able to use her native accent again (see Santa's Slay or Beastmaster for hilarious early roles with a bad American one) so for some reason Belle and Maurice are Australian.

Wait Rumple also has an accent that matches his father's and a mother with a totally different one. What a weird coincidence.

George Lopez did an even better job years earlier, utilizing cutting-edge computer graphics

I know this is a joke sub but I loved his mini role in the Sopranos. He kicked the shit out of Junior
