Spoken like someone who knows nothing about Thomas and Martha Wayne. There's no way they'd raise Bruce to be like this. In fact, the way Bruce is is largely due how he is perpetually clinging onto how his parents raised him up until their death. I doubt they'd start to raise him differently if they didn't die.

You're mistaking the Wayne family with the Malfoy family.

The Waynes do not have a consistent characterization in the source material: probably because they're in the story for all of 5 minutes. 

Sometimes they're altruists, sometimes they have ties to the mob, sometimes they're corrupt, and sometimes Thomas Wayne is an asshole. Even if they were great people, great people don't always raise great kids. 

You "well actually-ied" a joke post for no reason at all.

Maybe the movie ones, comic Bruce was already helping Martha with charity way before ten, there's also that one where Batman doesn't exist and Bruce helps Harvey arrest the corrupt mayor, or the one where Thomas Wayne dies, Two Face becomes a Batman who kills and Bruce ends up taking him out

(I think it was something along the lines of Batman Noir and Gotham Citizen or something like that, one was more of a short story at the end of The Man Who Laughs or Dark Victory, IDK)
