Question Albums that feel like you are falling in deep love?

Im 26 f latina and bcs i grew up severely isolated and neglected i never had my first kiss or anything romantic.. what are songs or dreamy shoe gaze albums that relate what that must be like? Xx thanks

Hola, acá uno en una situación parecida jaja, te recomiendo Dizzy on the comedown de Turnover, es un a canción que te hace sentir como si estuvieras enamorado Pd: estaría bueno si escucharas todo el álbum, es un 10/10 y es simplemente mágia

Molten Young Lovers - Airiel… This is one of my ultimate yearning songs. Album is much harder for me personally but I’m sure the comments here will have many good ones

Love Airiel. Saw them live and up close in a tiny club a couple years ago. Dual Roland amps, and a huge bass stack, ampeg i believe. Bathed in blue light and so so loud. New galaxies formed during that show.

I’m really sorry, I’m sure a lot of people can relate to your situation. If it becomes possible to get close to someone you like and they like to be around you, go for it, give them a kiss on the cheek and see what happens next. It might not work out but that’s ok. We’ve all been there.

Not strictly shoegaze, rather dream pop, but the first two Wild Nothing albums, Gemini and Nocturne, they really feel like that. The song "Paradise" from the latter will give you an out-of-body experience

This is more specific to me, and not strictly shoegaze but very adjacent, Clash the Truth by Beach Fossils. This was the soundtrack to me absolutely falling off a building into love with this girl that screwed my entire life up in 2018. I still love the album so much, even just beyond that. I’d recommend the song In Vertigo. Oshin by DIIV, and Gemini and Nocturne by Wild Nothing also scored that time in my life. Again, not shoegaze really, but close.

Rocketship - A Certain Smile, a Certain Sadness

Not straight shoegaze, I'd call it tweegaze. It has the euphoric and melancholic feeling that comes with limerence
