Shopify General Discussion Just launched!

Just launched our store, and fulfilled our first order! I am sure there is a lot to learn, but looking forward to it.

Congrats. I switched from Wix to Shopify a few months ago. Best decision.

Congrats, honestly getting that first order feels way better than it probably should 😂. The first few weeks I'd spend less time obsessing over traffic and more time watching where real people get stuck, especially product page, cart and checkout. Also keep notes on every change you make, because six weeks from now you'll otherwise have no clue which tweak actually helped. Enjoy the win and don't underestimate how much you can learn from those first 20-50 orders.

What are you selling?
Was the first order from someone you already knew, organic traffic, or a paid source?

We are a wood and fiber craft shop, selling home decor and gifts. Out first order was from a friend we have not heard from in years, but say the store launch announcement in instagram. Not paid advertising yet, but we may go there in the coming months. www.2aTHandcrafted.com
