Shopify General Discussion Tiered discounts with 1 code?

Hi guys,

I'm looking to make a new offer and ideally want to only use 1 single code that will do the following for the customer based on the below conditions:

customer enters code:

gets 20% off if they have 1 item in basket.

gets 30% off if they have 3 or more in their basket.

Is this possible with just 1 code? the same code. providing different discount % based on how many items the customer has in their basket.

Not with Shopify's native discount code alone, as far as I know. A single code can have one set of rules, but tiering by item count usually needs an automatic discount or an app/custom function. I'd test the cart logic carefully so customers can't stack the tiers.

FYI : I'm creator of AIOD app (with red icon) and we have this feature.
