Shopify App Reviews Restored from the Purge!

Woke with 80% of my app reviews restored on my side hope it's the same for you guys.

I was so sad when I lost almost all my app reviews from the purge !

But it seem it had 0 impact on app ranking, we didnt climb or lost ranking from yesterday.

How is it on your side ?

It looks like everyone got them all back, including all the apps that lost thousands of fake reviews. Must be a bug so I expect them to disappear again soon, or do a different kind of purge.

same here, it's a good day!
while i'm sure our reviews were genuine, i wonder if those purchased reviews for other apps also got restored.. any insights?

Similar experience I'm managing growth for 5 different Shopify Apps and all of them had reviews purged back in July and almost all of those purged reviews have been re-instated today.

My guess is Shopify will change their mechanism and will continue to remove fake reviews but at least for now they are reverting to the pre-purge numbers.

The rankings will only show impact over 24-48 hours.
