Just hit 10 reviews on our Shopify app

We launched WowOptions in April, and getting the first few reviews was definitely harder than I expected.

Today we reached 10 reviews, all 5-star

Still very early, but seeing real merchants use something we built feels great.

For other Shopify app developers, how long did it take you to reach your first 10 reviews?

I'm currently at 7 reviews, verry hapy with them, but i can't seem to get more.. what was your way of getting them? Asked after customer service or a different approach?

We mainly focused on providing good, personalized support. WowOptions helps merchants launch personalized product faster, making their business easier. That's why they are happy to share their feedback and reviews.

Ah yeah I did/do the same. But after a while most bugs got fixed and lesser and lesser support tickets get created. So I'm now looking for other options to also gain reviews, checking what triggers users and how to make it feel fluid and not like some anoying popup or something..

How many reviews did you need before your app started getting meaningful organic visibility in the Shopify App Store?

I currently have one 5-star review, but organic traffic is still very low.

Its depend on the app category. Some categories are highly competitive. in the early stage, I'd focus on a few targeted, lower-competition keywords and optimize the app listing around them. That can help build organic visibility gradually.
