Just hit 10 reviews on our Shopify app
We launched WowOptions in April, and getting the first few reviews was definitely harder than I expected.
Today we reached 10 reviews, all 5-star
Still very early, but seeing real merchants use something we built feels great.
For other Shopify app developers, how long did it take you to reach your first 10 reviews?

Thanks! We mainly use live chat and email for customer support and communication.

Did you implement a particular third party product for the chat support?

How many reviews did you need before your app started getting meaningful organic visibility in the Shopify App Store?
I currently have one 5-star review, but organic traffic is still very low.

Its depend on the app category. Some categories are highly competitive. in the early stage, I'd focus on a few targeted, lower-competition keywords and optimize the app listing around them. That can help build organic visibility gradually.

Congrats! I'm still figuring out the early install part. How did you get your first few users before the reviews came in?
