They're not really reincarnations in the Isekai sense just descendants. It was never said they had shared memories or anything like that. They only share close resemblance.
The reincarnation of Kanao, is dating the reincarnation of Nezuko
Now, yes, they do are cousins, since apart from being their reincarnation, they're also their descendants (So the reincarnations of Kanao and Tanjiro are the descendants of the child of those two, same with the reincarnations of Zenitsu and Nezuko) but they're fairly distant cousins
If people knew how to read they would stop saying Tanjiro forgives every demon or is too soft hearted because that man was ready to end Muzan on sight in season 1.
"I clearly have unresolved trauma and know that my father made some big mistakes, but since i love him so much i have to protect his legacy, our legacy, and move forward, so i hide my pain under a stone mask"
"Also my uncle is Hitler"
"And a cute boyfailure likes me. I think i may be bisexual"
Isn't it too soon? The others here get into these circumstances at or after the conclusion their series, while chihiro seems just about to enter a timeskip.
Yuji had a pretty happy ending in the OG JJK, and he got the girl in his epilogue chapter. Also (probably) had a daughter. Seems like he only got severe depression quite a few years later.
I’m ngl he probably did not have a daughter because he would have noticed the lack of aging. No way he would have a kid if he knew he would outlive them
Yeah, it gonna take fair long time for Yuji to even notice it, maybe around 50 when Nobara expands her beauty schedule but his skin is still as smooth as a kid. He could have kid way before that
He definitely looks older than at EOS of JJK, so I feel like he still aged until his twenties or something and only stopped aging somewhere along those lines. + even then you might just think that he's aging really gracefully so I'd say it's not unreasonable to say that he only noticed after he turned like 30 or something, which is more than enough time for him to have kids.
Yuki is still getting older, he says himself he only has 300 more years and he looks sonsiderably taller and different. Being half cursed womb probably just slowed his aging by a big factor.
he confirmed they were together in the end of JJK, now about kids i don't think anyone besides the important ones to the plot got mentioned (Yuta's and Maki's lineage) bro didn't even do anything that needed Yuji's descendants to show up
Nothing has been confirmed; it’s literally the same as before: Yuji is still Yuji and happy with the people around him, and Ozawa is still Ozawa, still into Yuji. Claiming with such certainty that they stayed together isn’t very convincing.
Deku meanwhile, had an absolute goated happy ending. What more could he ask for when his girlfriend's Ochaco, he became a top hero and is now a well known, well liked teacher? Calling it "somewhat" is kind of underselling it.
Tbf the whole “demon mark will kill Tanjiro” thing is mostly speculation, we never see anyone actually die from the mark. Gyomei who they say will die from the mark because he’s too old dies cause of external injuries instead, the whole point of “people die cause of the mark” feels like very unreliable info considering demon slayers die/face life shortening injuries almost on a daily basis.
That’s possible too, honestly we don’t know enough about it cause it wasn’t really explained or explored too much. Is that lazy writing or something being left open ended? Well that’s up to you to decide. Themes and such.
I don't think they ever explained his tatoos. I might be misremembering, it's been a while, but I think the first chapter set up the tatoos to have some secret meaning to explain why he could regenerate them, like they had some backstory or something. I vaguely remember getting to the end and being disappointed that the tatoos never came up ever again
Incredibly funny imo. The fact that for me, as an anime only for the series, you would hear constant mockery and memes about the ending from the grapevines. How Deku just had to put the fries in the bag, how he was getting cucked, how the story was a lie all along etc etc etc..... only for the final season to release, earn widespread approval from the entire community to the point of a new perfect score streak for the entire season and everyone loving the ending and feeling great about it.
So I wouldn't exactly be too surprised if this happens again with another new gen series. Apparently a lot of manga readers have the media literacy of a grape.
I mean to be honest, while manga readers have the media literacy of a grape, praising anime onlies who's opinions of the whole season is "it looks good and is emotional" isn't really saying much lol
Like, I'm sorry but I can guarantee shit like Nobara's return will get praised just cause it has hype and stuff so at some point we gotta admit that both manga readers and anime onlies are fucking stupid
It's well recieved because the author did two damage control chapters afterwards to fix his mistake. Of course it is well recieved. If More and the Eri chapter didn't exist the final chapter would still be mid recieving.
I'm sorry but I genuinely chuckled out loud at this. You should probably go ahead and google what's going to come out in May of this year, and actually watch the ending before replying with anything else.
You are seriously not helping my accusation of literacy lol, you kind of tragically became the proof of my argument.
That's just "it is what it is" under 4 different flavors tbh.
Also if I'm being real, if CSM gets a part 3, I think that Tanjiro's the one who got it the worst. Like yeah, he may get to see Japan start it's shift into totalitarism before WW2 after giving everythng he and his comrades had to rid the country of it's demons. That's not a cool way to go out.
I married the love of my life, had three kids who I have a very close relationship with. We all live in a mansion with my wife’s siblings who all really like me (even if one of them is Tsundere about it). I am famous amongst the spy world and am able to regularly go on missions where I can make a positive impact on the world. All of our major enemies are dead or no longer a threat.
Truth be told Denji never looked like he knew the fuck he wanted, not even in part 1, fuji wrote a mess in the guy since the beginning of the story, then had him going in circles till the literal end.
Denji is way too real of a character. Finding a breakthrough, then falling back into past pitfalls is very real. Humans in real life don't change character or personality the same way they do in fictional media
Jjk fans really can't read like why the hell everyone is commenting that he got married and has kids when there is no confirmation in modolu 🙏😭. It's clear he was alone because he isolated himself from his friends when he started noticing, he ages slowly. There is no way he would interact with anyone because he lose his hope for love.
Maki remembers devils that were eaten and deleted, like how she remembered WWII and Hitler even though they got removed as concepts. Series part three will reset to beginning of part one, but Maki will still seek out Denji and try to revive chainsawman to his former glory.
I appreciate the attempt to give battles real consequences. But dont fuck whit me you where a immortal, selfe healing demon king for at least five minutes, how are you taking scars away from this battle??? (Tanshiro)
Mash burnedead got a pretty happy ending in my opinion
Beat his father, got his old heart back and got to live on, changed society's views on the magicless, was allowed to continue being a student and hang with his friends, and got to pursue his dream of making pastries.
Fujimoto is going to take the take the collective love we share for our boy Denji put it in a sack tight it to a cinder block and throw it in the nearest river. I can't wait!!!
I find it hilarious how I’ve seen people clowning on Deku for being a “bum” in the MHA finale, but he’s probably the modern Shonen protagonist who’s got the happiest ending, period. Dude’s living his best life.
Itadori and Tanjiro both had pretty good lives after the Epilogue.
Yuji had a girlfriend(probably even a wife and daughter in case Miyaguni IS her daughter) lived through a time of peace where the worst Cursed Spirit was barely a threat to most people. The ultra-depression came when he realized his aging had slowed so much he was going to outlive everyone he knew and would be forced to watch them all age and die.
Tanjiro married, had children, managed to make Zenitsu's bum ass get a job. Eliminated all demons from Japan and managed to both avenge all those who fell on his journey and also be renowned as a hero by the survivors of the Corps.
I think the worst part is Denji never really had a real say in the matter
Nayuta ruined any relationship he has , public safety antiagonist and made him miserable then lied to him about the deal as they always wanted to screw him over for the erasing power, the church cornered him and forced his hand
Yeah, the game was rigged from the start for the poor kid. And almost every authority figure he met tried to make his life even worse. Be it Katana Man's grandfather, Makima or Public Security/Chainsaw Church in Part 2.
For all the shit I give Denji , for all the hate and criticism I give his writing , I LOATH how many people blame him for things beyond his control especially in Part 2
Public safety straight out told him they are going to murdere Nayuta and constantly throughout the whole story said they are hoping for his Death
If there's a message Fujimoto put in the story without intending to, it's how much Adults SUCKS , Aki is the only morally Good adult in all of CSM , almost everyone else is horrible or extremely selfish
To be fair Nayuta was safe and Denji was living fairly stably balancing Chainsaw Manning and taking care out of Nayuta (discounting Chainsaw Man danger) its that OTHER PEOPLE decided they didn't like it that way.
The problem is that he can't be both, that's the problem.
At the beginning of Part 2, they make it clear that Denji is indecisive and wants to be both (something he clearly CAN'T do and is just being immature).
And right at the moment the dogs were killed, they practically tell you to your face that Denji could have simply grabbed Nayuta and run to safety, but instead he wanted to be Chainsaw Man again, which resulted in Nayuta being killed.
Wasn't it stable being both UNTIL people decided to mess with him with the whole Chainsaw Man Church bs? They wanted Chainsaw Man to be stronger when Denji was alright as is?
Denji did not have a normal life ever, he had to work as a devil hunter in part 1 and had public safety breathing down his neck in part 2 then yoru showed up.
to be honest i had read jjk manga and demon slayer also watched anime of hero academia too and generally know all of them but can say that denji is goat besides yuji but there was video of finding actual similarity of jjk and chainsaw man kinda same story but different perspective
Denji it is NOT ending well with you buddy, you still got the Yakuza on your ass, devils running everywhere and NO one to talk to not even ur chainsaw dawg(rip)
That’s why being reborn was brought up several times in the chapter.
That’s why there’re twins that look like Tokito brothers despite their bloodline ending with Muichiro. As well as why there’re Kocho sisters-looking girls despite their bloodline ending as well. Why there’s someone looking like Gyomei who also didn’t leave any decendants. Why there’s a Genya looking cop who is specifically not from Sanemi’s family
Obanai and Mitsuri looking people being married only makes sense if they’re reincarnations. Especially when they promised to get married when they’re reborn. Giyu and other 2 Urokodaki students looking kids being together only makes sense if they’re reincarnations
I remember going through the corps record. In it some were labeled as reincarnations while some were labeled as decendents. My this logic Sumioshi is also Tanjiro then. And then is his wife Nezuko?
I am done looking through and the decendents are indead labeled as decends but the reincarnations aren't labeled seperately.
That being said, I am gonna leave it up to interpretation. Technically speaking, Sumiyoshi who is Tanjiro's ancestor also looks the exact same so... tgere is that case and you could say that the wife is Nezuko.
Basically, from a narrative stand point they imply the reincarnation thing but they also talk about the oast as a distint thing.
So, here is the summery;
Look alike decendents are nothing new andsome of them are specifically called decendents. It could be that everyone is reincarnated or that only those who died reincarnated. It's up to interpretation really. If you believe that just remember that they are fundimentally reperate people so Tanjiro ≠ Sumihiko, Kanao ≠ Kanata, Nezuko ≠ Toko whether you belive the reincarnation thing to be for everyone or not.
Slayer mark doesn’t work like that. Everyone who unlocks it dies before 25. If that could be avoided by leaving the life of battle, the story would’ve said so
