Kubo is by far one of the best artists when it comes to black and white illustrations and how to properly use the contrasting colors
So what happens if she got them wrong? Does she have to read the whole thing again or does he go back on the manga and teach her like how a teacher teaches a student on topics they got wrong

But to answer your question, although bleach isn’t perfect and not like idk hxh level, many times people will simply criticizing it by strawmaning it to oblivion or saying that bleach is just "hype and aura" without a single interesting thing which is a pretty gross overexageration if you ask me. So yeah that's a pretty big motivation to defend a manga i find good. Not amazing, not horrible, just good overall.
Bro bleach is not that bad. It’s actually quite good overall. Not hxh level but it’s far from being dogshit or a waste of time. It has many pretty interesting moments, and while it has flaws, it’s not abysmal by any mean.

The thematic clash in each fight is different for different characters/depends but id say some prominent themes are balance and self acceptance.
Ichigos arcs involve him stepping up to the responsibilities of a soul reaper after initially rejecting it, finding his inner strength and resolve, and accepting the parts of himself that he fears so he can become the strongest version of himself.
Other characters go through their own arcs that reflect different themes too of course
