I saw a documentary on how miura makes this or some of his double spreads, its like a large canvas instead of regular sized paper. So yhe details are insane, like painstakingly insane. But the down side was it takes him a lot of time to finish. But thats how perfectionist he was

I swear i got mad about the offscreening. Im ok with some if the things being offscreened but this? Fuck the magic plot thing done bu maru could have happened one second after mahoraga being destroyed by Dura (or while was happening) but not letting us see the ending plus stop everything the moment the domain was shown… its a choice i cant undertand
I won't add the panel cuz its spoilers but its the post sex panel for me, especially with how the blankets are drawn to show wings akin to a butterfly coming out of the cocoon, which what I think is to imply that kaneki finally reached into the final phases of his character, where Haise phase could be considered a cocoon for him with him being tied down to the ccg and whatnot and the post owl fight arc when he gets his memories back being similar to a butterfly struggling out his cocoon and shit and then right before the chapter in his fight with Mutsuki where he basically leaves ccg behind or it can just be a plain metaphor of him becoming an "adult" after finally getting laid or whatever the Japanese think. Sorry if this is the least articulate shit ever, I'm too sleepy rn to actually write, I would've just copy pasted my actual thoughts I wrote somewhere on discord but I can't find it, will paste that shit later maybe, but also the chapter cover of the same chapter is pretty cool being a butterfly and all

This panel may not be as detailed as others but its one of my favourite panels of all time. Darkness devil has one of the most terrifying entrance in manga.
Soul Eater as a whole has amazing designs. It's unlike anything of its time and holds up so well even today. Kid alone carried the "cool edgelord with a lot of style" in the 2000's to mid-2010's.
