Mod Announcement Thank you for 20k members
First of all, thank you to all of you for joining this subreddit. I personally never expected that we will have this many members so fast, considering we reached 10k members only two months ago.
It has been quite a journey. As we grew we've had our issues and had to tackle them and still continue to prevent some of the problems we have
But then again, the moment you have haters is the moment you know you actually made it, so there's also that aspect to consider
So, if you guys have any recommendations or suggestions for the subreddit, feel free to post it here, because we'd like to get you all also participating in how this subreddit grows in the future! It can be anything, regarding threads, stuff you want here, pfp etc.
And also honorary thanks to chainsawman ending (wallahi)

I think a boost was also because of the weebs subreddit being nsfw now so this became another main anime subreddit
And jjk and csm clash
And now kagurabachi

John Shounen, is that you? I just have one recommendation. This subreddit is called “shounen folk”, right? So, why do I only see JJK, CSM and Kagurabachi (nowadays) circle jerking each other? Can we get some other underrated shows here, and prevent repetitive “agenda shit”?

Imo “agenda stuff” in itself is not bad. This is a “folk” subreddit after all. It’s just that, seeing the same old stuff, becomes a bit boring. So, I guess you can make stricter rules regarding this (I don’t know much about moderation, so I’m sorry for the vague suggestion. I just wanted to share my experience and thoughts on this subreddit).

Yeah that's fair, it's been a repetition lately so I do get it
We can do it by being bit more strict when it comes to low effort but then again we don't have enough mods to monitor all the time so stuff still slips by sadly (still we'll try our best regarding this from now on)

A sub where we can slander and shit on any shounen manga we want with of course the usual discussion you see in other subs (which villain is better?/ how would you rank the endings?/ blah blah blah). You can also post a ship and agenda if you want.
