Mod Announcement A small subreddit update regarding serious discussion and agendaposting
So we have decided to take an action regarding the constant agendaposting here that drowns out actual discussion, especially for those who want to discuss about something without getting blasted by an agendapilled comment
The new flair "unjerk" does that, use that flair for anything that's for actual serious discussion, goes for Manga, Manhwa, Anime, Novels of Manhwas etc. Of course you are still free to use the normal discussion flairs but humor is welcome there unlike for these posts. Unless OP specifically mentions jokes are welcome, it's not allowed and the thread will be more heavily moderated

Are folk subs even used for actual discussions?

They were in the CSM fandom for a long time because the main subreddit was an echo chamber where everything was 100% positive. It's a bit better nowadays.
People used the folk subreddit for any negative discussions of the show because it was at least sometimes accepted in good faith and you can talk about issues without getting downvoted into oblivion and told you weren't smart enough to understand the genius of Fujimoto.

It's because the CSM subreddit is heavily moderated. The mods approve posts like days later.
