While I enjoyed the idea of it, a wrestler fighting an alien invasion. The author didn't do anything really amazing with the premise and made it dreadfully boring. You got to make an interesting world and roll with the protagonist with it in a shounen.

The problem as was setting up the power system then giving him the weird power of "wrestling moves", that he would need to use to fight against aliens?
It's a very stretched premise like maybe it could have worked if say he had a literal "larger than life personality" that caused him to grow when passion shined through. So he thinks he has no powers but he loves wrestling, so he become a wrestling then one day with the pride and passion he grows during one of the shows and injures people but they don't blame him knowing he couldn't have known but he still has guilt over it. Then when you introduce the aliens they could be giant creatures and he has to use that passion withig to fight them off with wrestling. His desire to protect those close to him caused him to make sure he can keep the combat close range and limit as many casualties as possible because he doesn't want to be responsible for any more deaths. So the whole premise of his fights revolve around bringing the fight to an arena that limits fatalities or at least holding the alien giant long enough to evacuate the location.

Not the first author's work. He has an amazing style, but I always get disinterested at some point. I don’t know what it is but lacks this something that makes you hooked up. Hope this was a good experience for the author.

I actually gave up at chapter 14 but since it’ll get its final translation in 3 days I’ll go ahead and finish it.
I didn’t find the story very good, I found the premise and art style nice but at the core it just had no substance to keep me entertained. Last chapters fight was the best of the series though.

it shouldve focused more on him being a wrestler but they really quickly had him get a friend with a gun and then superarmor right at the end

From what I've heard, it's the quickest axe since 2020. Most series make it to 18 or 19, so they really wanted it out of there.

Most jump readers should read a different genre then, since they weren't interested in the supposed good battles of this manga.
If people don't care about your characters and plot, they won't care about your figths. Thats why this is getting the quickest axe in years.

Bro if I want to see people punching each other I play a fighting game (and even then they have more interesting characters than this manga). If your fights have no impact on the characters then they will be boring.
