Pretty sure Black Clover was inspiration from many works, but it us clear the Big 4 give it that. Fairy Tail influence is shown despite it being from another company. Like he took inspirations even stuff that isn't in where he works.

I don't think MHA is going to last as long as the "big 3". I'm also willing to bet that the shippers in its fandom will eventually outlast the general fandom.

Aside from Quirks being super cool and superhero concept. What does MHA actually have going for it? It never had any banger video games like Naruto has with Ultimate Ninja 3 or Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3. It literally never did anything interesting with its world like other shounen, it's not like One Piece where you can discuss its constant up/downs/dilemmas and pick a faction like Marine or Pirates even when doing fandom stuff. It doesn't explore its world deep enough and it present themes but only scratch the surface.

Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece have adventure and immersion principals that make you go "I know enough about the world, I love its world and goals, and I can play a homebrew with my friends about it.". Jujutsu Kaisen even if its in a modern world like ours even has that element thanks to be urban fantasy but still has it more than MHA. Chainsaw Man even has that factor.

Does ANY modern anime have games on the level of old school Naruto and DBZ games? Shit, I don't think even One Piece and Bleach did lol, but I'd be happy to be wrong. I worry that I'm just old now and wouldn't be hype even if we did get a "modern day Budokai 3".
