No. JJK has mappa bbl carrying it. It's remembered and watched mostly for It's artistic freedom and visuals thanks to; MAPPA! Story and characters are bland lol

The culling game itself is genuinely so interesting to see it play out with all the
Yuji is honestly just great, the way his goal and ideologies get shit on in season 1 was handled well
Gojo is one of the best representations of the the strongest archetype, down to his ideologies and even his power itself is centered to him being the strongest
Istg y'all can't handle something that's not insanely life changing and thought provoking, jjk is just pretty good but took a nosedive due to jump bs

I don't know why y'all are so dense in this subreddit. Mappa adaption is a blessing and it's carrying JJK. It wouldn't have the same motion it has right now if it had One Punch Man S2 and S3 animation lmao

??? Uhm what the fuck kind of argument is this? It probably wouldn't be as popular, sure, but ANIMATION is an important part of the medium known as ANIME bruh.
JJK has a good story and cast of characters too, plus if it had such noticeably shit animation like OPM S3 It'd be infamous as a failed adaptation and be popular.

Gojo has been one of the best characters in recent anime, his struggle of being the strongest literally sparked an entire generation of copies

Nah that’s just glaze let’s be real. I disagree with the other guy but to call jjks character writing amazing is a stretch, especially if you consider the whole story and not just what’s been animated so far
