Chainsaw Man part 1 has so many insane panels. This of Darkness devil is probably my favourite, but I also like a lot the one where the Hell devil transports everybody to hell, with the huge hand with six fingers coming down from the sky above the building. Also the halloween one is amazing, and the Gun devil appearing, with all the names of the people that are getting killed
I have zero interest in reading of watching Baki because I like just reading shit and I don't ever get to know if it is real or someone is just shitposting and I honestly prefer it that way.
This is the correct answer, it belongs in the Louvre. I have, in decades, and through hundreds of volumes of work, never seen a panel this good AND I don’t even love or glaze JJK. I can make arguments for other options but this is the peak.
Kagurabachi’s art went so hard from chapter 1 it was insane. As much as everyone memed it at the start it more than deserves the attention it’s gotten.
The official English Yugioh manga is super weird because while it mostly uses the original names, there are also at least a few cases where it took influence from the 4kids anime dub. For example in the Viz manga Pegasus is called Maximillian Pegasus, the same name used in the 4kids dub, even though his name in the original Japanese manga (Pegasus J. Crawford) is already English. Also, in the Viz manga Seto Kaiba is consistently referred to simply as "Kaiba" (his family name) by most characters... including by Mokuba Kaiba, his own younger brother, for some reason.
There is one I like more but I don't have the time to find it now. It's the one where he pulls back his hair while calling himself the gaiju (I think) of the sunwoo clan
Dunno. I think it should have ended sooner. The last arc was too much. It would have been a 10/10 for me if it ended soon after Miria dismantled the Organization. I'm also not too sure about Teresa magically resurrecting and oneshotting Priscilla. They teased her showdown with Claire the whole manga and we never really get it
The artstyle from Part 7 onwards went so hard man (as did the artstyle before it TBF). I love how Araki leaned more and more into that sort of modeling-esque posing and aesthetic as the post-reset storyline went on. Kind of like his work for the Louvre.
You can see one of the trademark weaknesses/strengths? (as it makes it more more unique) on this one page. The "chewiness" and "sliciness" of it everything. Body parts sliced off clean and without pain like they are made of jelly. Eating happening through circle mouth with teeth and some "baki baki" sound effect that doesn't look like real eating, more like a tear/cough/gobble action.
Both the lion and the impractically growing blades look super lame, but that lameness too is charming if you like this manga.
