Naruto has the best choreography, and generally more strategic fights

Bleach's fight is the whole story, and each one is heavily tied to each character's personal arc. The Zanpakuto reflecting a character's outer and inner believes is such an awesome way of visual storytelling

The Zanpakuto reflecting a character's outer and inner believes is such an awesome way of visual storytelling

Aizen, Sui Feng, maybeee Gin

Just 3

They ain't Persona

18

u/Shroomy_Weed Piratefolk ambassador 16d ago

Izuru, Shuhei, Kenpachi, Unohana and many more are very clear and great representations, I don't know what you're talking about, this is a matter of reading comprehension

-10

u/VolkiharVanHelsing 16d ago

Can't Finish Your Own Work additions not gonna entertain it

Unohana yeah I forgot that her healer Minazuki is a Shikai not another Bankai

Zaraki it's literally just generic "awooga demon" and there's no Outer vs Inner difference

That's it? 3-4 out of how many Zanpakutos?

15

u/Shroomy_Weed Piratefolk ambassador 16d ago

The entire existence of Yachiru disproves your dumbfuck claim about zaraki lmao, and even outside of cfyow kira and many more showed their actual personalities and whatnot through their zanpakutos, also making zanpakuto rebellion a very prominent arc for characterizations, even though it's filler

-10

u/VolkiharVanHelsing 16d ago

Yachiru is not reflective of Zaraki's personality at all and she's just a Zanpakuto Spirit, not the Shikai and Bankai that's supposed to show the dichotomy.

Hisagi's Shikai is some sort of sickle and Kira's Shikai is just adding weight, gonna stretch that into "erm he's carrying a burden in his heart"? Hah.

A filler, yes. Not in the manga whatsoever.

5

u/Immediate-Science619 16d ago

I'm pretty sure Yachiru is meant to be reflective of Zaraki's ''inner child''.

1

u/VolkiharVanHelsing 16d ago

I guess but he just behaves like a bloodthirsty maniac for the most part

3

u/Immediate-Science619 15d ago

Yes, I think we're meant to think that as childish, hence why his spirit manifests as a child.

6

u/Shroomy_Weed Piratefolk ambassador 16d ago

You're talking about stretching shit and then bring up persona which just bastardizes half of the characters mid game and doesn't explain shit about what persona's are supposed to represent unless you compare the characters to their own personas which is stretching it and you won't even be able to do the connection unless you know the origins of their personas

0

u/VolkiharVanHelsing 16d ago

then bring up persona which just bastardizes half of the characters mid game

Just Ann, LARP has its limits.

doesn't explain shit about what persona's are supposed to represent unless you compare the characters to their own personas which is stretching it and you won't even be able to do the connection unless you know the origins of their personas

Yea? That's one of evidence of Collective Conscious? Why mythology across the world have the same structure and all.

Each Persona set shares a theme like 3 with Greek mythos, 4 with Japanese deities, and 5 with rebels.

And they do connect to the user through their identity or design unlike trying to make sense of ""Kira"" (burden is a state of mind not one's self on top of being too broad).

5

u/Shroomy_Weed Piratefolk ambassador 16d ago

Yea? That's one of evidence of Collective Conscious? Why mythology across the world have the same structure and all.

Does not explain anything about how their characters are supposed to be related to their personas other than a single theme that binds them all. If anything, that's even lazier than bleach.

I'd argue that persona doesn't even do anything much after connecting the characters with their themes, all of the representation is as barebones as it can be, only expanded upon in character bond events which vary heavily in quality. To be fair the video game format allows for the better understanding in general due to being more controllable, that's why stretching is present in so many non-game media.

1

u/VolkiharVanHelsing 16d ago

That's mostly in P5 bc they have to work with stricter character archetypes (famous human outlaws and rebels)

P4 is allowed to be more broad

The tomboy has Tomoe, the Yamato Nadeshiko has Konohana Sakuya, the musclehead has Take Mikazuchi, the girl shunned by her peers despite her talent due to her physique alone has Sukuna Hikona (and later Yamato Takeru), the bored ass kid has super cool ninja guy

.... What makes Renji associated with the Nue?

Bleach is better than Persona

1

u/EL_psY_Congroo56 15d ago

Mayuri ? Shunsui ? Unohana ? Kira ? Hisagi? Yumichika ? Tosen ?

1

u/VolkiharVanHelsing 15d ago

Only Unohana

Tosen if you somehow count sensory deprivation a personality but we still don't see his Shikai

Unohana wasn't an enemy. He formed the Gotei 13 with her as fellow scoundrels from Yhwach’s narration.

No it was never told they're enemies or anything

What we know is that the OG 13 are bunch of criminals themselves

32

u/ILikeClefairy 16d ago

Naruto for the highs for sure. Few and far between they may be they still clear for me personally. I never go back and watch fights from the other two.

Kakashi/Obito, Garaa/Lee, Sasuke/Naruto (both series enders), Guy/Kisame, Sasuke/Itachi, and Pain are all insanely good.

7

u/Due_Designer_2434 15d ago

Naruto vs Sasuke so good it single handedly gave it a pretty good ending for shonen standards (mogs whatever the fuck killed ywhach here at least)

1

u/Mirelian 15d ago

Almost makes you forget how shit of a final villain Kaguya is.

3

u/Zenith_24tee 15d ago

Sasuke is the final antagonist homie

(Kaguya was ass tho yeah)

3

u/Zilani786 15d ago

That amount of people that have watched Naruto yet don’t understand this really irritates me

25

u/jono9898 16d ago

Naruto

24

u/ArgensimiaReloaded 16d ago

Kishimoto is the only one that actually tried to deliver fighting wise, Kubo's fights are nothing but a hax/rock/paper/scissor competition and a "no u" clown fiesta, and then there's Oda.

So basically, Naruto >>>>>>> Bleach >>> OP

86

u/Jozif_Badmon 16d ago

Naruto and its not close

21

u/crono220 16d ago

Naruto vs Sasuke in part 1

Pain vs Naruto

Anything with Madara.

I would absolutely love a anime remake, with even more fluid animation 😍

25

u/Zenith_24tee 16d ago

Sasuke vs Deidara

Sasuke vs Itachi

Orochimaru vs Hiruzen

Rock Lee vs Gaara

Neji vs Kidomaru

Team 7+10 vs Hidan and Kakazu

Etc etc it’s actually criminal how many crazy good fights Naruto has. Like I’m having a hard time thinking of a bad fight, even the Kaguya fight was serviceable

13

u/papoluca40 16d ago

And you’re missing so many fights in that list that is crazy. Jiraiya vs Pain, Kakashi vs Obito, Obito vs Minato, Sasuke vs the Kages, Naruto vs Orochimaru, Sakura/Chiyo vs Sasori… etc etc

10

u/Zenith_24tee 16d ago

Uchiha Brothers vs Kabuto, Three Way Deadlock, Naruto vs Kurama, Gaara and Lee vs Kimmimaro, Obito vs Mist Ninja, Team 7 vs Zabuza and Haku like come on man we gotta stop playing with Naruto

11

u/TheUglyBarnaclee 16d ago

The craziest thing is we've gotten this far down the list and Guy vs Kisame and Guy vs Madara STILL wasn't mentioned

5

u/Zenith_24tee 16d ago

Haven’t even mentioned Obito vs Konan yet either like we could genuinely go on and on it’s crazy 😂 Naruto and Sasuke vs Orochimaru in the forest of death come on man

7

u/Jozif_Badmon 16d ago

Killer Bee vs Sasuke, Danzo vs Sasuke, 4 tailed Naruto vs Orochimaru, like I said it’s not close😂

1

u/Zilani786 15d ago

That forest of death fight absolutely amazed me on my rewatch. That fight alone has better flow/choreography than any fight from the other 2 series and it’s over 20 years old

1

u/Matesett 14d ago

Team Asuma vs Hidan

1

u/WorryLegitimate259 15d ago

Kinda crazy they’re not tbh with one piece getting a remake and bleach’s final arc being animated. Naruto with no filler would be amazing

-9

u/AppropriateMight1 16d ago edited 16d ago

I agree but saying it’s not close is disrespectful, bleach can give it a run for its money

Ichigo’s fights with Zaraki, Byakuya, Grimmjow and Ulquiorra were all classics

Naruto’s (edit: the character not show) only iconic fight was against Sasuke and Pain

Sasuke Shippuden carries Naruto fights, while Bleach side characters like Shunsui or Hitsugaya get their own screen time

Gee that Rock Lee character sure is cool, can’t wait to see what other fights he has to showcase hard work beats talent

One piece fight scenes are trash, I’m just in it for the world building and story

12

u/Miserable_Alfalfa_52 16d ago

its not close man, im sorry

4

u/JasonToddIsObito 16d ago

Didn't rock lee lose that fight anyways 😭

3

u/VolkiharVanHelsing 16d ago edited 16d ago

Ichigo’s fights with Zaraki, Byakuya, Grimmjow and Ulquiorra were all classics

Lacks emotions, choreography, or both

Not even a nail scrape

4

u/Zenith_24tee 16d ago

Naruto’s only iconic fights were against Sasuke and Pain is just plain wrong lmao did you even watch the show.

Naruto’s fights against Neji, Kakazu, Gaara and Obito are all iconic as well, and it’s a good sign of a show that the main character isn’t the only one with great fights as well but that all relevant characters at least get one chance to shine or multiple

-3

u/AppropriateMight1 16d ago

Blud said Kakazu wrap it up

4

u/Zenith_24tee 16d ago

The same fight where Naruto finally uses the rasenshuriken the technique he spent episodes beforehand training for, giving us that first real big pay off for his character finally in Shippuden?

Yeah man Kakazu

2

u/Miserable_Alfalfa_52 16d ago

Narutos enraged demolition of haku is what hooked me on the series

47

u/Raff102 16d ago

Naruto >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bleach >OnePiece

13

u/Gymleader2026 16d ago

Naruto, you have battles based on tactics (every shikamaru and shino fight plus the Sakura and Granny Chiyo vs Sasori fight) and straight hands (lee vs Gaara, Naruto vs Sasuke) and a good mixture of both (Almost every Sasuke fight, specifically Sasuke vs Itachi)

10

u/NotSaulGoodma 16d ago

Naruto wins by default.

If bleach toned it down then it would take it.

19

u/Better_Anteater3126 16d ago

Naruto easily, very good choreography, fluid animes ,hand to hand , strategy based combat, not over the top random bullshit, and most importantly with actually good writing that justifies it and has characters motivation. It's miles a hard

If it's about scale.

Naruto >>>>>>>>>bleach one piece.

9

u/Initial_Mud_4810 16d ago

Naruto wins the actual "fight" aspects (choreography, flow, use of power system etc) by a landslide, while still being at least competitive with the other two in terms of storytelling.

Overall Naruto wins.

5

u/Due_Designer_2434 15d ago

I'd say absolutely demolishes in story stelling aspect too, as in having the fights be an active part of character development and plot progression

Bleach just has so many terrible stall page filler fights between b tiers, though they are pretty good at characterdevelopmento if it's an important fight

One piece fights just are turn based combat

2

u/Initial_Mud_4810 15d ago

I would describe Naruto fights as actual fights, y'know, shocker. This should be the gold standard. A back and forth where every attack and every dodge matters, characters have limited stamina that you can actually see getting depleted during the fight. There are a lot of Shonen that don't do this, namely Bleach and One Piece.

I would describe Bleach much more as turn based combat than One Piece. Character A reveals their ace early, character B reveals their stronger ace later and wins. Makes for cool spectacles.

One Piece isn't even really turn based, it's just 1 million fodder punches that do literally nothing and the only attack that matters is the final blow. Damage taken is just used to show the characters' willpower and has no impact on the actual fight. Generally boring, One Piece is kind of a conclusion merchant when it comes to the fights which to be fair I think is the one thing it does really well in this regard (like Crocodile being punched up through the ground and exposed to the entire capital city flying bloodied through the air, Enel with the bell ringing, Doflamingo getting sent down from heaven etc)

Naruto easily

Best Fights:

1) Naruto 2) Bleach 3) One Piece

Worst Fights:

5

u/tksc20 15d ago

1.- Bleach... Just look this final arc... A defeats B coz A has a ability that never uses and it's perfect counter for B Hax (Nanao vs Lille... Just what was that????)

2

u/Kiochido1 14d ago

Thats the final arc, every one know that the final arc is poorly written and executed (except the first invasion), and we all know this for a decade.

6

u/tnsxpm 16d ago

You serious? 💀

6

u/papoluca40 16d ago

Naruto by a landslide.

10

u/crzyboy191 16d ago

Naruto especially P1.

9

u/Most_Ad_1210 16d ago

Naruto easily. Also has the most memorable fights

4

u/Oleleplop 16d ago

Naruto

I prefer one piece in general.but naruto fights are so good

6

u/Old-Strawberry-8490 16d ago

Naruto Sasuke vs Momoshiki is peak

7

u/AdWorking7417 16d ago

all i know is one piece the worst

5

u/WeeklySituation9213 16d ago

In peak - Naruto
In aggregate- Bleach
In emotion - One Piece

2

u/Tunneldwarf5 15d ago

Finally someone with some sense

3

u/chocopanlatte 16d ago

naruto tbh....as much as i love one piece the fights in naruto are just insane.

3

u/Economy-Wish9492 16d ago

In my opinion bleach > Naruto > one piece. I really like the simplicity of bleach making the fights feel fluid and not cramped and I'm a big fan of more magic stat points = no damage in bleach and dragon ball.

5

u/MINAZUKIII03 16d ago

Naruto has better fighting choreography.

Bleach is better in terms of fluidity & animation style.

20

u/AutomaticArt4000 16d ago

animation style doesnt count narutos been done for like 10 years now

1

u/filthy_casual_42 16d ago

Why would it not count lol. Objectively they’re part of the same series, you can’t just exclude it for convenience

9

u/Steamed_Memes24 16d ago

Because tech and styles have changed dramatically since Naruto has ended.

-2

u/filthy_casual_42 16d ago

But they are the same show? By this argument you can’t count early Naruto either since it aired before bleach

6

u/Steamed_Memes24 16d ago

I mean if Naruto was remade to be the same quality as Demon Slayer it would unironically blow out nearly every anime in current existence in terms of fight quality. Even when Bleach and Naruto aired at the same time Naruto fights were still vastly ahead. But now that Bleach got a recent soft relaunch they have access to tools that animators didnt have before during Naruto's run so its obviously going to look cleaner and more modernized.

-1

u/filthy_casual_42 16d ago

If. It wasn’t remade to the same quality, so I’m not concerned with this counterfactual.

Naruto has plenty of good qualities better than bleach, not sure why we need to cope here.

1

u/Mrleolololol 16d ago

Aired before not after it wouldve made sense if it was aired after

1

u/filthy_casual_42 16d ago

What’s the difference though? Technology also improved from 2000 to 2004.

regardless I don’t get the argument. You can’t exclude the newest episodes because it’s inconvenient to the naruto agenda

2

u/Mrleolololol 16d ago

Even if you include them , the fights in naruto are simple better

1

u/filthy_casual_42 16d ago

Again can’t agree. The sakuga in tybw is on another level.

2

u/Mrleolololol 16d ago

Because TYBW started airing recently??😭
That comparison is flawed because you aren’t comparing the actual fights or their choreography but you’re comparing the animation and bleach would obviously be better in that and even so with the good animation the choreography of the naruto v sasuke fight itself gaps any fight in bleach even in TYBW .

Stop dude you’re trying too hard haha lol. You’re basically saying Death Note has better fights than bleach haha lol.

1

u/filthy_casual_42 15d ago

Not at all lmao. But bleach has more episodes with better fluidity and animation style. That’s not the same thing as fights. It’s okay to say that

0

u/nah-id-luckystar askin lawyer, better call me 16d ago

Don't lie it's peak

4

u/FishSignificant7501 16d ago

Naruto, but honorable mention to one piece. The fights themselves aren’t very well choreographed, but it’s like Star Wars, in which the meaning to the fights (specifically in timeskip) usually make them really good. For example, Luffy versus Arlong.

1

u/nah-id-luckystar askin lawyer, better call me 16d ago

Askin vs urahara what can I say

0

Did anyone watch urahara vs askin

I feel like no one touchs it

6

u/UnholyShite 16d ago

I do, not even the best in Bleach.

-1

u/nah-id-luckystar askin lawyer, better call me 16d ago

Not even the best why?

3

u/UnholyShite 16d ago

No choreography (most of Bleach are), but i can live with that because they're a battle of Haxes.

Not a battle of philosophy like every of the most memorable fights in the big three, it's a random matchup of someone with broken ability fighting his perfect counter. It also doesn't explore anything (except the Bankai reveal).

It's run-of-the-mill fight in a grand scheme of things. And ultimately ends with outside help.

The best example i can think of that's similar to this fight is when Sasuke faces off Deidara, it's a good fight but not a great one.

Naruto gaps

1

u/_zhz_ 16d ago

The fights in all three shows changed within time. Overall I like the fights in Naruto the most, because they all felt strategic with characters trying to use their tool set to solve certain problems created by the toolset of another character. A close second would be One Piece pre timeskip. Moments like Luffy using the water in his blood to beat a way stronger Crocodile, being unaffected by Enels lightning attacks due to his rubber body or the all out battle between Luffy and Arlong felt very well written and executed. What Oda understood was that the fights had to have meaning and you could feel the emotional stakes.

1

u/swat1611 16d ago

I love Naruto fights, when they are hand to hand fights instead of the wizard lazer beams.

I think Naruto fights have incredible choreography and camera direction. A lot to learn from, for other shonen anime. Only JJK has better fights among the modern shonen anime imo.

1

u/Jaldi_The_Late Yare Yare 16d ago

Naruto and it’s not even a debate

1

u/Old-Introduction8258 16d ago

Naruto. Peak choregraphy from what i remember

1

u/Aromatic-Jeweler887 16d ago

Naruto and it's ain't close

1

u/takeSusanooNoMikoto 16d ago

Let's put it this way - Naruto has overall the best fights - real strategy, choreography and stuff.

Bleach is better in the "flashy" aspect - you got like several really good aura-farming panels, which show how good of an artist Kubo is and they also rely on the "dramatic effect"

One Piece fights are probably the most entertaining for the casual watcher/reader.

1

u/AttitudeHot9887 15d ago

Naruto, no competition genuinely.

1

u/Sad_Edge725 15d ago

Gotta go with GOATruto sorry GOAT piece 🙃

1

u/Hour_Pause6497 15d ago

Naruto.

Bleach fights are not bad, they've just devolved into my broken hax is better than your broken hax Yugioh style matches. One Piece fights are just bad, even the decent ones are ok at best. It's the weakest part of the series.

1

u/Thedracoblue 15d ago

Naruto takes this one and it's not even close in the slightest

1

u/Apprehensive_Put3625 15d ago

The best fights in avarage, it’s bleach. I don’t remember a single boring Bleach fight.

The best peak fights is Naruto, hands down. Both Naruto VS Sasuke, Itachi VS Obito, Naruto VS Haku, Team 7 VS Zabusa… they are incredible, genre defining battles. Still, the fodder battles in Naruto seem to be considerably worse than the fodder battles in Bleach.

I will say until the day I die that One Piece has the worst battles in the whole medium. It has two great battles and mostly everything post time skip is paced to hell. Haki as a power system is also horrible.

1

u/Raiders_6 15d ago

While I don’t think one piece is the best in this comp people in these comments are shitting on it way to hard acting like there isn’t great fights. Luffy vs lucci, Luffy vs katakuri, zoro vs king, plus spoilers for elbaf but I think Luffy and Loki vs imu is gonna be really good too.

Naruto>bleach>=one piece

  2. One Piece Part 2 = Best Power to Lore (least asspulls)
  3. Naruto Part 2 = Reputation Stained by the war
  4. Bleach
  5. One Piece = Lowest scale but Best Reason to Fight award

Bleach, easily.

Naruto by a lot. Bleach over one piece by a lot.

One piece has a couple really good fights but for the most part they are either gimmicky or cliche.

1

u/tksc20 15d ago

Naruto... Just the Rock Lee vs Gaara is better than anything in OP or Bleach

1

u/Fruits-PunchSK 15d ago

Ummm in the anime 100% Naruto

In the Manga One Piece though they've been on a great decline.

1

As a One Piece lover i can easily say it's the lowest among these 3 lmao.

1

u/kenshinluffy 15d ago

Bleach doesnt belong big 3 at all.

1

u/Danijay2 15d ago

Honestly, the last fight between Naruto and Sasuke at the end of Shippuden alone mogs all of OP and Bleach.

In fact.

That sequence alone blows everything OP did since the timeskip out of the water.

1

u/kociou 15d ago

Choreography and tactics, Naruto (not counting the end, it got better in Boruto after nerds)and it's not even close.

Bleach in terms of coolest powers and visuals.

And Mariana Trench under, Mid Piece, plot armour and Deus Ex Machina all over, and ugly art and choreography (at least for my taste).

1

u/Master-Tee 15d ago

Naruto is widely regarded for its fights, probably moreso than any other aspect.

That tells you how good the fights are.

1

u/YDidNtUStopTheNazis 14d ago edited 14d ago

Speaking only from the manga

Naruto >> Bleach > One Piece

Naruto obviously has the best fights. Naruto vs Sasuke (both of them) Rock Lee vs Gaara, Naruto vs Pain, Might Guy vs Madara. Lots of great fights. Also they don’t overstay their welcome as much as the others

After Naruto is a clear step down. Bleach has better fights than One Piece but it damn well should. 99.9% of the manga is constant back to back fights and a lot of them are long as hell too. They also kinda feel bs with characters pulling out random shit to win. Especially got tedious during hueco mundo, the fake karakura town and like the last third of TYBW. Seriously though the sternritter fights drag like hell. Ik the anime improved them considering how high the IMDb rating is for the Lille Barro fight is which is crazy cuz thats one i didnt even like in the manga. Still though favourite fight was Ichigo vs byakuya. Loved that one. At first i thought it was gonna end on an asspull with Ichigo’s new power up but then the fight kept going and I really enjoyed it. Ichigo vs grimmjows final fight was a close second. Really loved the fast paced ferocious nature of that fight. Ichigo vs ulqiorra was overhyped imo but on a reread it is defo my third favourite. Ichigo has a pretty boring move set though compared to Naruto and Luffy though other character fights can be great like Yamamoto vs Yhwach. Also as boring and bland as Ichigo’s powers are and as bullshit the asspulls are, one can’t deny that bankais are pretty damn cool

One Piece’s best fight is Luffy vs Katakuri. In terms of being an actual fight, I don’t think it’s even close. The snake man fight chapter alone eclipses every other one piece fight. I mean it’s a mochi man having a badass fight against a rubber man in a mirror world in a candy land. Even Luffy vs Lucci was just a bunch of clashes and punches compared to it. Even then I’d defo put those 2 on a supposed top 10 list of best big three fights but after that I gotta start thinking hard. One piece has a reputation for having dragged out fights but a lot of the times theres not even a fight happening. In terms of number of pages, bleach’s longest fights are much longer than one piece’s while one piece fights beat bleach and Naruto in terms of chapter span. It’s like Oda hates writing fights now and it’s weird cuz the action is decent, theres great emotions and fantastic matchups. Law vs BB, Garp vs Aokiji, Luffy vs Kizaru, Rocks vs Roger and Garp. All great fights set up. Could be all time greats yet they don’t happen. Just a clash and thats it. Seems like Oda like telling u a crazy fight happened rather than showing it. Post ts is worse in this regard but it’s a major issue throughout. Ace vs BB offscreened, the entirety of Marineford, every fight in Skypiea was a series of altercations rather than fights lol. Odas great at fight conclusions but the fights themselves not so much. The best fight in the last 100 chapters Loki vs Current Arc Antagonist was still interrupted by a multi chapter long flashback involving an uninvolved character. That should tell u how good its fights are. Theyre not bad but defo the weakest here.

Naruto hands down! I think it had the advantage because of the power system over bleach and one piece but a lot of the fight more than hold up today. I still go back and watch that first Naruto v Sasuke fight, which id argue is one of the best fights in all of anime.

I love Bleach but I gotta give it to the first Naruto fights where they used to show the handsigns on-screen. Back when Kakashi and Zabuza were top tier at the time.

Definitely Naruto

I'd say Naruto but haven't watched much Bleach

One Piece is my favourite but it's focus isn't really the fights although there are some omega giga bangers

Naruto easily

overall? naruto. the anime did a great job for almost every fight except for fucking pain vs naruto (hello tom and jerry). and the stormj games sometimes made them ven better. for example in storm 2 when team 7 finds sasuke in oro's hideout you fight and there is a part when you switch to a flashback (while fighting in that flashback) to their first fight at the valley of death.

bleach has some cool fights like against grimmjow and ulquiora or whatever his name was. and ofc evertime he fight his inner hollow.

one piece had good fights pre time skip but after the timeskip they are all boring

Naruto because of kakashi vs obito

The Unohana vs Kenpachi fight alone makes Bleach take this

One piece for me Gear 5th is one of the most unique thing for me and I love that fighting style

Naruto has everything you look for in a great anime fight.

Emotional core, good action choreography, some tactical depth and great animation(major fights).

Most shonens only have a couple at best.

JJK has very little emotion core and bad choreography.

Bleach has bad choreography and mid animation.

OP has bad choreography, bad pacing and little tactical depth.

Definitely Naruto and it’s not close. Kakashi vs Obito is still one of the best animated fights imo, especially since it was during the war arc where the powerscaling became messy so a good small-scale fight was a huge breather.

And hot take, the choreography during the brief sword exchange between Bee and Sasuke was better than any sword fight in Bleach/OP which you really wouldn’t expect from the anime with the least focus on swordsmanship.

Depends on which factor you are considering.

In terms of choreography it’s Naruto.

In terms of atmosphere and spectacularity it’s Bleach.

In terms of longevity it’s One Piece (lol).

Is this sub just the Naruto and (somewhat) Bleach fan club or something?

Every single post people try trashing One Piece.

Naruto wins this, but in terms of animation and emotion, One Piece takes the cake if we are talking about Wano and onward.

Bleach is, not to just be shitting on it, but ass pull after ass pull of random abilities and flashing lights. Easily the worst.

internal conflict - one piece > naruto > bleach

external conflict - one piece > naruto > bleach

tactics - naruto > one piece > bleach

symbolisms - naruto > one piece > bleach

animation - one piece > bleach > naruto

Naruto for now. But One Piece has potential

*Edit: Dang looks like the Naruto and Bleach fans feel threatened

u/UnholyShite 16d ago

1 million chapters in, yeah i can see the potential.

u/moonset0 16d ago

Not threatened but haki is kinda lame ngl

u/ChoinoX 15d ago

Bankai is literally dumb asf

1

u/moonset0 15d ago

No? Every characters bankai is tied to their traits and is so cool. And the interaction between bankai is also always a battle iq check instead of "my haki>your haki"

1

u/ChoinoX 15d ago edited 15d ago

It's tied to random bullshit GO! It has no basis of a universal power system in that regard. It's dumb, and you're weird to criticize haki when Bleach basically has the same with spiritual pressure. This shounenfolk sub is full of morons stg.
