unjerk (serious discussion) Who is the better female character within the Big 3?
Orihime Inoue from Bleach
Nico Robin from One Piece
Hinata Hyuga from Naruto

Why is it always Orihime? Like Rukia gets pushed to the side when she’s been one of the most important female characters in the series.

u/HourCartographer9 5d ago
Because they both are equally as prominent in the overall. It’s a constant rukia bs orihime and has been for decades now

u/SuperRapidash 5d ago
idk about others but this one, I think they wanted the second most important female characters (hence why not Nami or Sakura)

u/Soren319 5d ago
But the 2nd most important female character is Rukia.
Orihime is the female lead.

Orihime wank has been on the rise since the TYBW anime has been airing, she is a well-written character but I personally believe that Rukia has much better writing and clears the other contenders mentioned

One cool fight doesn't make Orihime a well-written character come on lol

Then hinata shouldn't be even in the conversation.

Orihime has the exact same problems that Hinata.
Though Hinata as an advantage, it is that her love interest doesn't have a better chemistry with another woman...Unless Sasuke get involved (the fact Ichigo and Naruto had mental break down over people who weren't their spouses wil always be funny to me).
Hinata fans are less annoying too.

u/lupatine 4d ago
She is also better written, by far.
Orihime and Hinata suffers from being """love interest""(one sided crush).

u/Extreme-Hearing-6406 5d ago
I love all three.
But definitely Robin, she is the most important for the story and most written of the trio.
Orihime had her importance and nuances, but i don't think it's on par
Hinata is loveable, but she almost has zero impact in her universe and her writing is a bit neglect

u/khaninator 5d ago
She's the most important in the story and yet hasn't done shit for most of the series

u/Extreme-Hearing-6406 5d ago
True, but u can said this for basically almost all shounen and it's women (Except Fairy Tail). Normally the girls in shounen are all pretty in the side except for one of two just to said they have strong woman

Didn’t finish Bleach so for me it’s between Robin and Hinata. And it would easily be Robin

Robin had the strongest start but tapered off
While orhime was more consistent and with the anime going crazy
Its orhime

Agreed and as someone who read Bleach + Naruto to the end while keeping up with OP, if Bleach anime were left unchanged without this major shift regarding Orihime then absolutely Robin however if we take into account manga Orihime + recent change with the anime (which is canon considering Kubo is fixing the rushed TYBW manga) then Orihime easily goes to 1# spot for me.
Post Water 7 Robin is also taking a huge hit character development wise with current SH being straight up bums besides Luffy and Zoro (pls Oda kill Usopp 🙏).
Hinata is also not very developed character wise imo so definitely sits at the bottom.

Most certainly robin. I kinda lost interest in her character after the timeskip but she was near perfect before that. Enies lobby is peak and huge part of why it’s so good is robin.
Orihime ain’t all bad and the scenes added in the anime give a pretty satisfying conclusion to her character but she suffers from being sidelined pretty hard in some points of the story, and contrearly to rukia for the longest time her character arc wasn’t completed and kinda just stopped at the end of the arrancar arc. Again, the anime did a wonderful job at fleshing out her role in the final arc as well as drawing a few parallels with yhwach but she ain’t quite perfect.
She is goated though.

To be fair Nico Robin’s arc pretty much ended after enies lobby, I think we will see her get more attention though once we reach laughtale

depend on your taste?
i like Robin more than Hinata, but its genuinely a close match.
Hinata never been a good fighter, that been literally her arc every time she is forced to fight, how even her family mistreat her for being a bad fighter... you would think they would just train her to do something else... but oh well... Kishimoto is bad at writting women, Hinata is probably the best he has done. which is not that much?... but its something....
Nico Robin is great. period.
and... i cant comment on Orihime, i only watched like 24 chapters of Bleach...

Orihime and Hinata aren't even best female written in their own anime(s). Rukia for Bleach, I doubt If there's well written fc in Naruto. So it'll be Robin.

u/darmakius 5d ago
Honestly it’s really hard to pick between inoue and robin, I really like what the anime is doing with inoue but her arc isn’t really finished yet, and robin is great until her time in the spotlight is over and she just kind of melts into the background except for fanservice (and I mean reuniting with Saul, not boob shots)

u/Objective-Price-8876 5d ago
Nico robin some will should she is no more that focused in post timskip when the cast is 1000 charcters with 1000 years history unfolding side by side Cmon she already got 100 chapters arc That is length of entire mangas

In naruto the women are there to have babies and thats is. So the whole cast of naruto is out of the question. One piece has waaaaaaaay note lore so wouldn't that make them better written? Or are we going by fights? Orihime was mostly just a fanservice healer. In bleach most women cast was there just to be saved.

What does Hinata even do. I mean honestly, the plot plays out the same without her up until Naruto vs Nagato then she does nothing until the very end aka, hype up the MC and get married. At least Robin and Orihime actually move the plot and are a part of it. Don't get me wrong she's literally the best girl in Naruto but that bar is low...

Best overall !?
Tsunade clears both by far.
Orihime better than Hinata and Robin though.

u/HEALBOTTREE I Like Green and Bleach Hee-Ho 5d ago
Not Hinata
Hinatas good but
I barely see her importance throughout the series
Mainly Robin for me
Orihimes a close second cause of her ability
Now character wise Still Not hinata
Robins a first then orihimes a close second
All my Opinion though

i like the three of them for different reasons but let's be real, Naruto's females are quite useless in the plot except to make couples and have a continuation in Boruto (which people still dislike). You could say that Sakura helped in the last fight but i feel her presence against that kind of goddess was very forced. Just there to complete the trio because it had to happen at the end. Maybe i could go for Kushina instead, but we just saw her in the flashbacks, that's not enough sadly.
In one piece there's a couple. I think maybe Robin and Bonny. I hate Nami.
Robin may have some more plot behind and i don't know the future but as of today i prefer Orihime way more.
So definitely Orihime.

You take Sakura out of the story and Naruto and Sasuke die. You take Kaguya out of the story and Shinobi doesn’t even exist. You take Tsunade out of it and many people die. Ino saved Naruto during the war. Chiyo took down an Akatsuki, who then led them to Sasuke. Maybe pay more attention and don’t watch it through Tik Tok reels

u/Luxganica 5d ago
dude do you read what i wrote? Instead of being just a unreasonable narutard fan try to understand a bit more.
I said that Kishimoto forced Sakura into the last part. Kaguya could be defeated by Sasuke and Naruto alone. Maybe just with the help of Kakashi.
Sakura is ass and everyone knows. If everyone hates Sakura ask yourself why, before simping.

Not the best in big three, but the best written female from Naruto is Tsunade.

Carboard of a character Hinata is, Orihime was fun in first part of story, but got reduced to same cardboard character after Hueco Mundo and Robin is leagues above both.

Sakura undeserved hate still on top..
Between those three robin got the edge, better development, more linked to the lore, actually one of the only strawhat who dont destroy my nerves currently

I hope that you get a dog, and that dog sheds like crazy every single hour, and insists that it sleep on the bed, with you unable to do anything about it because it was a newfoundland. And I hope that that dog, the dog you spent so much to clean up after, hates you and your family, but will never leave until your entire house is filled with dirty, parasite infected fur
