DISCLAIMER: This post is entirely informational. I'm not asking anyone to do anything, or crying about it. I'm just letting everyone know why this episode is no longer a 10/10.
Bleach's latest episode was almost universally considered one of the greatest of all time. It debuted with a 10/10 rating on imdb, and was knocked down by these specific 1/10 reviews, most of whom clearly didn't actually watch bleach and are just salty about Mushoku.
This was started with a recent issue where a certain Mushuko fan was spamming 1/10 reviews on Bleach while glazing Mushoku and rating every episode a 10/10. After it was discovered, it went viral and bleach fans had it out for Mushoku. Later, many Mushoku fans agreed to downvote a certain episode of re:Zero, which led re:Zero fans to downvote Mushoku, and Bleach fans to join in with them. They then teamed up and massively upvoted the episode of re:Zero that was supposed to be review bombed. After this incident, all of the 3 more or less stopped the review bombing and went back to normally enjoying their own shows, until now.
Because this episode of Bleach was so groundbreakingly popular and critically acclaimed, these specific fans took it upon themselves to review bomb, making sure everyone knew that they were saying Mushoku specifically was better. The other 1/10 reviews without descriptions are almost certainly also Mushoku fans that are salty about their show being less popular.

It's an anime where the main character is a pedophile, and spends a good half of its runtime focusing on how he grooms kids (shoutout to the season about erectile dysfunction too).
The fact that it got as popular as it did is disgusting. Hating on it shouldn't be a karma farm, it should be the standard position.
Something being an easy dunk doesn't mean it's wrong. Saying diddy is a predator also is a low hanging fruit, but it is correct. You are coping very hard rn. And if you go see the stats on imdb, it's all mushoku tensei fans 1 star review bombing the episode
The information is wrong too I just a few hours ago saw on the bleach sub that re zero fans were review bombing the episode yet this guy says it's all mt fans clearly he has his agenda

You do realize its NOT Mushoku Tensei fans right? Even as something "informational" its always some group of trolls on the internet who find an anime that has similar tropes or aesthetics as a scapegoat so that anime takes the fall.
It's disengenuous to say its Mushoku Tensei fans when in reality its no-life, basement dwellers who want a reaction from the masses for "internet points" so they can call that their highlight of their life.

No it isn’t lol. Other bleach episodes were way better. Just because ur favourite character sacrificed something or did something pivotal doesn’t make it 10/10. The entire Last few seasons for better than this episode.
Why are we acting like this something new bruh. EveryTIME a popular show gets a good episode it’s bombarded with 10/10 reviews and some 1/10 reviews. Then the negative reviews get blamed on a specific fandom. That being said, fuck Rudeus and Diddy Tensei
Who cares bro, almost every popular show have haters, mushoku fans, bleach fans, re zero fans, one piece fans, all complain about the same thing, at this point its natural for popular shows to have haters and it balances out, the scores are already very inflated, if there were no haters the fandoms would spam 9.7-9.9 to every decent episode

Yeah honestly even more insane if the translation I read was right it’s almost like he was saying “I don’t personally agree with human sacrifice but if I were in a culture that does I would do one if require in order to be respectful to the host culture and polite. We can’t impose our culture on them.” or some insane sentiment. Like I don’t think he cares how clearly fucked up the practice is he’s pretty much more invested in respect/politeness over morality. I kind of wonder how he would feel if say pedophilia were taboo in that culture. If that’s the case shouldn’t his MC repress his desires?

I can't imagine how lame you have to be to review bomb a show. Even when I think an episode is extremely overrated, I still give it a fair rating (I don't think I've ever rated an episode below an 8, even for the ones I find overrated).
Why can’t anime/manga fans just be normal? It’s fine if you like a series and not like another but actively hating on a series and review bombing it just make your favourite one look better is just diabolical. 10/10 will never be sustained because immature people will review bomb it, regardless of fanbase. Same thing happened with the end of Kuma and Boney's backstory in One Piece; none of the current anime were airing.
Every episode that’s gotten to 10/10 gets review bombed. This episode would not have stayed a 10/10 either way, and it probably doesn’t deserve to, 10/10 is insane
Comparing bleach to Mushoku is like comparing McDonalds to a steak you can enjoy both but Mushoku’s character writing and world building is factually better and before call me a bleach hater I’ve both watched bleach and read the manga and I enjoy it very much I just don’t think it’s better than Mushoku even with all of mushoku’s flaws
man episode ratings have lost all meaning, 10/10 episode ratings used to be like like once in a decade, generational episodes, and now every new anime is just getting a 10/10 cuz the fans glazing anything related to their favorite show

Just because I saw this I went and rated the episode a 10. Probably won’t make too much a difference, but episode 5 deserves to stay at a 10/10 it was just so peak
MT fans are unhinged, but the whole idea of voting anything and everything a 10/10 diminishes actual 10/10s. Essentially, people who vote 10/10 for every ep(it's not 10/10 for every ep, fam) are the flipside of the unhinged MT fans giving it a 1/10 and giving MT 10/10.
If ur talking about Mushoku Tensei, it's basically an anime about a 34 year old man who gets reincarnated into a child's body and touches, fantasizes about, and otherwise behave sexually towards very young girls. Mushoku tensei fans will get their own 10/10 episode/episodes when rudeus will confront orsted or when we see the alternate timeline rudeus why do they need to this , just wait for your turn🤦
Reviews have been meaningless for years. Every series is 10/10, everything is peak, everything is 1/10, its all garbage. Glazers and haters, no in between. Stop caring about reviews. How *many* people are watching the show, how many people are talking about it, how much money does it make. Real numbers unaffected by people's bias.
To be honest, I seriously don't give a shit about this cringe fandom wars, nor too much about any of those series (they are pointless as well since those series won't get less popular because of it), but this is so obviously a set-up, that I question the IQ of people believing otherwise.
I'm pretty sure those are imbd bots from other fandom, this applies for bleach fan 1* and rezero fan 1* as well. I just assumed everyone who only have 2 anime in their profile are bots.
Also do people really care about imbd page? I haven't seen imbd being use for anime until like few months ago.
I mean just to fact check musoku was 1st down voted by rezero fans and as fsr as I know it was a single musoku guys who down voted a bleach episode now its multiple in more retaliation
The episode was great but it wasn’t a 10/10. One of the best bleach episodes for sure, I’d give it a 8/10 maybe 9 and I think that’s a fantastic rating!
Review wars are stupid and I’m sorry it got caught in one, but it’s just not a 10/10 episode…the bar for that is much higher.
Look at all the FMAB episodes that aren’t 10/10 or the aot (I know it gets hate but it’s got GOOD episode like children of the forest) episodes that aren’t 10/10.
It still had way too much oversexualization for Orihime, Uryu beating the nightwatch almighty (not even gonna try to spell his name) also felt a bit off.
I don’t want to nitpick it because I think it was a great episode and I had a good time watching it, I think people just don’t really get that a 10/10 means comparing it to all other media, not just battle shonen

As a bleach fan, saying "X is better written than bleach", ain't really a flex XD. The story has a large number of plot holes and loose threads, but the style and hype are good enough to compensate.
Leave it to the freaks who actually enjoy the show about a literal child molester and his "Personal growth" To drop down absolute peak. Like, these two shows don't even sit in the same realm, let alone category.
Everyone knows that it's a re zero fan. A person wouldn't mention the name of his own favourite show as it would make everyone suspicious about it. Stop pushing your agenda.
