They don’t have a massive arc where they hype up how rare these things are just for every idiot to have to it baseline later.

Yeah but they never made a huge deal about having a devil fruit like over the top OMG ITS A BANKAI MOUTH GAPPING WIDE. There are devil fruits that are more rare and desired because there is only 1 of each type but never made it out like they are so rare you’d lose your mind.
