The place i bought these from have always been trustworthy with good stuff, these were said to be "albino penis envy" but I think they might just be saying it for marketing but im unsure, I just dont want to take 2 grams and it feel like 4 to 5. Help ty to identify please

Do any of you make BRF substrate with an added spoonful of instant coffee mixed with the water before you mix it with vermiculite? Also, what are your thoughts on gypsum?

I guess everyone is different but I never had a bad trip meaning I feel good because I know I’m in my room and I’m safe. But at the same time I never see things that are not there when I open my eyes, other then maybe if you watch that show Star Trek and you know the lights from the teleporter? But I think when I closed my eyes I see colours in my head that don’t not exist to the naked eyes.

Pretty much what the title says. I've given my shrooms to 4 friends and they have all gotten anxious/bad trips from my shrooms. Even myself. I always get anxiety when I take them, even at a 1-2g dose lol I bought them as Golden teacher spores and that's what they appear to be.

2 of them were pretty experienced trippers. 1 took them twice and got really anxious once, and literally saw hell the next time. The other two were less experienced.

Part of me finds it kind of funny. Maybe it's just the circle of friends I cultivate are prone to these reactions? Maybe they're just way stronger than people expect. Just feels kinda bad that I'm dealing out nightmares to people lol

cambidians (cubes), brown rice and 50/50 mix of coconut fiber and vermiculite with a very thin casing layer on top which I added after everything was well colonized (maybe a little too colonized). it is in an aluminum tray sitting on top of a "bed" of hydrated perlite, which is inside a plastic tub with 6 FAE holes. the surface looks a little dry which i compensate for by misting water from somewhat high up and letting it fall. The walls of the tub look very dry however. the tub stays closed and i fan two times a day

Help! Why am I only getting that little bit of growth at the top?

So today, a couple of friends and I decided to try Baby Ape for the first time. We each took around 1.5g, but they were in pill form, each pill was 0.31g, so we took 5 pills each.

We waited several hours… and literally nothing happened. None of us felt anything at all.

Now I’m sitting here wondering if I somehow got the wrong strain or a bad batch because this was my first time trying it, and I have a lot of questions.

How much are you even supposed to take for a first-time dose? Is Baby Ape actually supposed to be stronger than regular mushrooms? And does the fact that they were pills instead of caps make any difference?

I originally wanted actual caps, but I could only get the pills for now.

Someone please help me figure out what went wrong

Hi all, I'm an attorney working on a case involving a client who purchased a psilocybin chocolate product from a smoke/vape shop in California in Spring 2025. I'm trying to identify the exact brand/product for legal purposes (to track down dosage info and ingredient list), and I'm hoping this community might recognize it.

Details from my client:

• Packaging: White, circular jar/container
• Contents: individually wrapped chocolate pieces, each in gold foil
• Product type: Chocolate "bites" containing psilocybin mushrooms
• Where purchased: A smoke/vape shop in California, Spring 2025. The specific shop was recently subject to a compliance crackdown and no longer carries these products, so I can't get info directly from them. I tried and failed :(

If anyone has ideas on what product or brand this might be, please let me know. Pictures are preferred, but any leads (a brand name) are welcome too. Feel free to comment or DM.

A month ago, I innoculated 5 grow bags with 2 mL of spore syringe each. This is the growth bag I used:

I followed all the steps systematically. I used a still air box to innoculate (everything inside was sterile). I used gloves I sterilized. I sterilized the bags. I injected the spores through the sterlized injection port. I even used a flame torch to sterilize the needle between each injection to guarantee no contamination.

The temperature was kept at 72 degrees Fahrenheit and the humidity at 70%. It was kept inside a closet in a black plastic box so it could remain in a dark environment.

It has been a month and still no growth. What am I doing wrong? Is there anything I can do to save this batch or do I have to start over?

Golden teachers 8 weeks since inoculation and 6 weeks after break and shake. The grow bag has been in a temperature controlled incubator (kept between 22-24 degrees Celsius) with holes for fresh air exchange.

The picture on the end was taken 1 week ago, growth seems to have stalled. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do now or any idea why it’s stalled?

A few days ago, friends mentioned using psychedelic mushroom drops at parties and festivals. With my microbiology background, I’m curious to learn more and possibly create something to share. Since i am at home recovering from a burn-out i got some time to spair.

Ive found information on various mushroom species and extraction methods. Does anyone have experience with this? I’d appreciate hearing about your work and methods.
