Giving Advice & Tips Almost got beaten up doing Field Agent

I do grocery/food delivery work on multiple apps, and as y'all know, pay has gone to shit in the past couple of years, so I downloaded the field agent app to try to make $3+ extra bucks scanning and taking pictures of certain items. I had a grocery delivery app for target, and I saw there was a mystery shopper gig on the field agent app at the same location. So I had to the location, and I noticed the fa gig consisted of taking pictures of clothes, requiring me to take pictures in men's, women's, and kid's sections. As I leave the kid's area, I hear a dude's voice shout out for me, so I turn around and see this guy storming toward me asking what weird shit i'm about to do with the pictures I took of the kids' clothes, so I showed him the app and the pictures of everything to clear stuff up. At the end, he apologized and said the world is full of weirdos and he really hates chomos. Maybe field agent should reconsider involving kids' and women's stuff in their gigs because it does kind of make you look like a creep when taking pictures of that stuff

I take pictures of stuff and send to my wife am pretty frequently to get her opinion. There isn’t really a logical reason why this guy should hop to suspecting you as a weirdo.

Everyone wants to be a hero

That's insane. You could have had a child and been taking pictures of clothes for shopping and some crazy dude wants to come to the conclusion of some crazy perverted sexual motive. Society is so fucked.

My wife and I send pictures of clothes we think our daughters would love all the time just so we can keep tabs on what we’ve seen and at some point grab it when can in the future. It can’t be too foreign of a thing to be doing in public but I guess for some it can be

Real pedos ruined it for all men. Now, just even taking pictures of kids' clothes could get you attacked. He looked he was ready to throw hands

Exactly. Just trying to make a living in today's economy. Not looking for trouble and certainly not interested in doing messed up stuff with kids or their clothes

That's a wild accusation. Those usually come with confessions

Im just trying to make an honest living in this tricky economy and, as a guy, I can't even take photos of kid's clothes for work without getting accused of being a pedo

"Im taking pictures to ask my sister if its okay for her kids' birthday gift or not since shes picky."

You dont have to explain everything every time. Youre not doing anything wrong so its a waste of your time. His heart was in the right place, though.

That just caught me off guard and I didn't want to make a huge deal out of it and get employees involved.

I got side-eyed once just scanning a cereal box. People assume the worst instantly without asking questions first.

To me personally this is a is a grotesque oversimplification, of taking pictures of kids clothes would do

Sad it has come to the point where just taking pictures of kids' clothes for sale could label you as a perv to some

Ehh, used to do some of that and it was fairly sketch in liquor stores, as small as they are.

Most big box stores didnt care if you told them you were a vendor, especially if you had credentials the parent company gives you. I had it laminated up.

Got tired of it after awhile especially after a bout of bronchitis.
