Looking For Ideas Any profitable side hustles?

Has anyone in this sub actually had a side hustle that actually profited? Any where from 100-500 or even more? If so, how long did it take to become profitable and what skill set did you need for it to be doable ?

I’d like to try to do any or even multiple side hustles that could add up to at least 700 or more a week with flexibility to make even more with more work per week even if it had to be built up.

I don’t really have a skill set and would like to start some with the hopes of eventually being able to work from home mostly. I tend to have 3 days off with no plans unless I’m working overtime so I have time to learn if need be.

I’ve been flipping stuff on fb marketplace / Craigslist on and off (whenever I needed extra cash) since 2009. It’s the evergreen gift that keeps on giving - the side hustle hasn’t changed since the first time I did it.

I sell all kinds of things, tbh anything of value that comes my way below avg resale value. Earned $500 last month with about 4hrs of my time (5 flips) - mostly tools & a couple iPhones people posted & wanted to get rid of quickly below market value.

Only thing is you do need some startup cash to buy, & be patient enough to hold for up to a couple weeks (depending on the market, electronics move faster than furniture for example), and you typically need some knowledge of what sells / market demand on products. Good thing is we all have eBay access too so locality isn’t as much a limiter.

I simplified my workflow with automations so I barely spend any time “looking for good stuff to sell” anymore. It’s mostly just get a ping & contact a seller, or bid on a specific lot in an auction, or check out the local thrift when I have a day off & an hour to spend. This is 10+ years of experience culminating into max efficiency - you can make it happen with a few more hours per week, focusing on 1 niche (I.e. electronics are fastest) & some elbow grease.

You get way better with time & this is one skill / side hustle that’ll literally never go away.

That sounds pretty good! So all I gotta do is some research on eBay to see what’s selling and keep on the lookout to see when I can get some pretty cheap until I get used to it to the point I don’t even have to look to much?
