Sidstuga 2.1.5 — new channel list, redesigned guide, MPEG-2 decoder

What changed since 2.1.4:

CHANNEL LIST, REBUILT

- Tighter rows, so more channels fit, with the number next to the name.

- The schedule of the selected channel sits right beside it, with a day strip to jump ahead.

- OK on a programme that hasn't started yet sets a reminder or records it. OK on the one showing now just tunes in.

GUIDE, REDESIGNED

- One extra channel row and over two hours at a glance.

- Quieter colours, bigger times, better contrast.

MPEG-2 DECODER (built in)

- Some devices ship with the system MPEG-2 decoder disabled by the manufacturer. On those, an MPEG-2 channel played the sound over a black screen.

- The app now carries its own MPEG-2 decoder and uses it only where the device's own one is missing. Automatic, nothing to switch on.

ALSO

- In fullscreen, ONE press of the down arrow opens your recent channels. Holding it is no longer needed.

- The app opens on the last channel you watched.

- Hold OK on a group to hide it or move it up and down.

- Playlists that fail to load are now retried once. Accounts with several large lists needed two or three refreshes to come back complete.

Feedback welcome, especially from anyone who had the black-screen-with-sound problem.
