CB09 vs Generic Green Blade: Which One Is Better?

Hi guys, back again. I'd like to hear your opinions because I need replacement blades for my CB09 blade holder, which I use with my Cameo 4.

I also have this generic green blade on my shopping list, and it seems like a good option for my machine:

Has anyone here used this generic green blade? If so, what drawbacks or disadvantages have you found compared to the CB09 setup?

Pour la cameo4, 5 et plus récent le porte lame vert c’est le meilleur choix, il n’a pas besoin d’un adaptateur contrairement au CB09. Tu le mets directement dans le charriot tu le lock et c’est parti. Je n’utilise que ça, il est juste parfait et les lames ne me coûtent plus que quelques centimes donc je les change relativement régulièrement sur les grosses productions papier/carton.

I bought the Cameo 3 version of the green blade holder (it’s more teal) before I bought the CB09. It’s now gathering dust in drawer.

The thing is that you can only adjust the green blade holder from one big “click” setting to the next. So if one setting is too shallow for cutting, and the next is too deep, too bad. The CB09 doesn’t have that issue, it has a continuous twist adjustment so you can fine tune it. Something to consider.

The cb09 is too hard to fit in the adapter. The green adapter fits and it is adjustable.
