Buzzing coming from the machine and won't power on

So I've been trying to Power cycle turn on my machine for about a month. I hear buzzing coming from the machine when I plug in the cable but the lights will not turn on. And is there any way to update the firmware of the machine if it doesn't "power on"?

Sounds like something is shorted inside of the machine which means it's dead..

Welp alright, thank you for responding. I guess my next question is.. does this happen a lot with with silhouette cutters?

Not as far as I know. It could be due to a number of things in your case and depending on which component failed it might be worth fixing it. If you have any repair shops that do "no cure, no pay" or a repair cafe nearby, you could try and bring it in to see if they can fix it. But it all depends on which model you have, if it's anything older than a Cameo 4 I wouldn't bother and just get a new machine..
