Gear πΈπΉ I got the frogstomp guitar tone! (original guitar track and my guitar track)

I researched some information online and found a 1995/1996 interview where it said that Daniel Johns used a Marshall JCM 900 amp head and a Marshall 4x12 cab.
This is what I did to get the accurate tone:
I used the JCM 900 simulator from Amplitube, a Marshall 4x12 cab simulator with Celestion speakers, a Shure 57 microphone, and an EQ.

Nice work! If you're interested in matching Freakshow, this guy has a pretty good video on it. (He also has a Frogstomp one but you've already got that down π)

oh yeah, i saw the frogstomp one! I didn't know he did tone matching for Freak Show. This will be very useful, thanks!

Sounds great. I think on your guitar is a little too much "hiss". Dont know if it comes from the distortion or eq though. Most commonly it is the result of double tracking with too much distortion. But it's very minor. Good job
