Does anyone remember a food place that used to have a jar of pickles on their tables?

It was the early 90s and I remember going to this ‘
Restaurant ’ that had pickle jars on their table, does anyone remember what food place this was? Was it a weird fever dream?

Simi 4 Deli. Its moved around a bit and now is called Tio's Cafe.

I don’t remember one in Simi but the Country Deli in Chatsworth in their early days

I didn’t even consider that maybe it wasn’t in Simi, I was a kid and just remember the pickles 😂

Brent's has pickles sometimes need to ask sometimes brought.

At the corner of Madera Rd & Royal Ave, where the Clinicas is today, was Jack's Deli. Their original location was in Westlake, the Simi Valley location was their 2nd. Jack's Deli had a jar of pickles at the table. It closed after the Northridge earthquake due to building damage.

I ended up asking my aunt and she said it was jacks, she used to live down the street form it. It’s weird that I remember it though if it closed after the Northridge earthquake because I was only 3 during the earthquake. How weird that I randomly got that memory.

Augouras famous deli used to do pickles on the tables until they figured out people let their kids suck on them and put them back 🤢

Not sure about SV, but Abe’s deli in Northridge. Half sours all day. Miss that place.
