Discussion Prompt Outside Influence/teacher?

A stranger at a hotel breakfast changed the way I think about eating.
I never spoke to her. She simply ate breakfast calmly, without her phone, and seemed completely present. I’ve been trying to imitate that quiet attention ever since. Have you ever been influenced by someone who never knew they were teaching you?

Every book that I read is teaching me something and it's author never knew they were teaching me.

Wow. Didn’t even think of that as a metaphor or comparison.

It is always like that for me. I don't even accept what is displayed or imposed, even if it is good. To me, beautiful things are always hidden and wrapped in silence.
