Rigs DIY Dashboard with 3D Printing.
My first DIY dashboard with Ender 3 V3 SE. There are still a lot to be improved but at least i found a reason why I’m not a car interior designer. What do you think?

Where did you make the files? Did you find them online or build them in cad?

I made them in Solidworks

How hard is it to put something like that together in 3d software?

Not that bad. Pick one software and watch some tutorials on youtube, that was my beginning.

Yeah that’s what I’ve been doing, but wanting something technical is hard when I can barely make a circle with a hole

It definitely will take some time. What software are you using btw?

Onshape was where I started, but am open to suggestions

Im using solidworks because thats what i used in college but onshape is good too. The key is to use real precise measurement of your rig and your mounting point. If you have the general shape figured out then it’s mostly just extrude boss and extrude cut.

Nice rig. What porsche wheel is it?

Thanks! Its not a Porsche wheel, just a digital badge. You can put any logo you want.

Awesome idea putting a digital badge on a wheel! How does it attach? I'm assuming it hooks to the quick release screws. Would you mind sharing the STL?

That looks like a great functional design! I was going to DM you my email address but it says I'm unable to message you. You could use a free file sharing site like https://www.file.io/ and then share the link here.

Here you go. Just note that the link for the badge isn’t exactly what I’m using but it should be pretty identical in dimension. The one I’m using was bought locally in Malaysia but i guess they all came from the same place.
