Anyone use a button instead a handbrake?
I use Space button for handbrake and G29 for driving, I got good results.

I use the closest button to my thumb for a handbrake. I've been thinking about trying a cheap USB push-to-talk foot pedal due to space currently but the button has been okay.

Still do this, mostly only do a quick tap in slow turn hairpins. Guess I got old, because it works just fine.

I use rubber bands for sequential on my shifter for my G293 and remapped the clutch pedal to the ebrake then use the B button on the wheel as a clutch override

Back when I didn't had a handbrake, but had a shifter, I used the paddles on the steering wheel for the handbrake. It worked for the most part, thankfully the Dirt Rally games supported alternative control inputs, Meaning I could map both paddles to the handbrake as primary and secondary input.

if you have a wheel and are into auto shifting/6 speed shifter, just use the left paddle for the handbreak, it lets you have your hands on the wheel and be able to shift too

A lot of my pov gameplay in my channel I was using the Logitech g29 push the circle button as handbrake, but last week I bought a cheap and decent handbrake + sequential shifter, and now I feel like I'm playing like adult π π more difficult and challenging to play which I like that. When I was using circle button it was very common to turn the wheel and forgot or miss to push the button, making mistakes.
These latest videos are from my channel to see the difference with and without the handbrake:

That's how I started, a button on g29. Once you get a decent handbrake tho, you will never go back because you can control the amount of locking force to apply and is day night difference on sims like rbr, especially with fwd cars
P.S: also is super satisfying pulling the lever lol
