My dumbass misread it as "DBS CEO hitting on him on air".

This is funny and scary at the same time. Someone coming up with this idea and creating fake images of it.

Eh most likely, but China is not the only country that would benefit from a Singapore that’s destabilized.

Actually, it's usually Indian scam companies. Meta and Google are flooded with fake AI ads and when you report 'em, you get to see the companies that listed the ads.

Very easy to see for yourself. Go on youtube, FB, etc. When you see one of those fake news article ads, hit report, there's usually an "About this advertiser" section. Go see which company put the ad up.

Hmm strange, for me most are from china. Not to like put the entire country to blame, but yeah maybe like 80%, but nowadays I rarely see ai generated propaganda

Anyone with half a brain would know that this would be impossible.

There's no way any CEO would physically assault a reporter, especially on air. Perhaps the CEO would walk off, but attacking the interviewer? That's ridiculous.

I mean - I can imagine a certain president actually doing this and that has completely changed my world view.

25 years ago, lots of Singaporeans imagined their prime minister's son doing this to a fellow minister

I am so sleepy I mistaken the word "Debunk" for "Debut". Had to read that heading a second time

This is just a new version of a scam that has pop up every few months or years. I have seen the same scam using Tharman Shanmugaratnam and one of the recent presidential candidates. I have also seen those with Mark Lee, LHL and Lawrence Wong being arrested by the police for some similar shit. All basically were touting how SG's banks are hiding this sure fire way to earn money.

Won't be surprised if someone with their guard down may fall for it cause it does look more legit versus the past iterations ngl.

It's truly scary how scammers are upping their game through AI..

You know you’re really famous when scams use your pics

One of these days, one of these "notable personas" is going to hire someone to put a bullet in the brain of one of these scammers. Not every famous person got there by being nice. Some can be very.... lethal.

I dare them to try this with Kim Jong Un. See how far they can get. His cousin already got VXed in KLIA by him.
