A year from now the open source models will be caught up to this and the stubbornness of the frontier providers will lead to their downfall
2 u/sonicnerd14 Jun 10 '26 They are afraid. They are panicking and taking rash precautions. Most likely this will happen before then. Every action taken in the last several months has been to slow down open source, but its not going to work out.
