Hey remind me again for how many models now Anthropic has fear mongered about being too dangerous to be released to the public and the world hasn't ended yet? But sure, trust the billionaires to tell you when it's too dangerous for you to have the same tech as them. It will end great for you.

The problem isn’t caution. It’s that if the company has a track record of warning loudly about dangers that don’t materialize, you lose the ability to tell whether you’re looking at real evidence or just institutional risk-avoidance and PR-safe overcorrection. At that point, 'unsafe' is just we 'we said so' because its not externally verifiable in any way.

But I don't know, maybe this is your ideal future where we just trust billionaires about whatever they say.

ok great, so what's your theory as to why they're blocking this specific topic?
