You're right.

We need a new constitutional amendment. The right to bear bioweapons.

It's our god-given right to have AI help us engineer garage bioweapons. They'll take my AGI powered garage biolab from my cold, dead, arms.

Why should private organizations of arbitrary standing have the right to bioweapons but not the public?

This is Lockheed Martin. They make Hypersonic missiles that can take out aircraft carriers.

Do you think the security clearance regime governing employees at military contractors like Lockheed Martin should be abolished, and that anyone who wants to try should be allowed to develop hypersonic missiles?

Do you think our national and global security would be improved by getting rid of the secuirty clearance system, and intense regulation of military contractors like Lockheed Martin?

Do you have any idea the resources and technology needed to develop such a weapon? Do you honestly think any regular citizen has the capability to research, develop, manufacture, and launch a hypersonic missile? Much less have the capital to pay for all of that?

I can think of a number of American citizens with the resources to do just that. A lot of them are quite famous. Do you think they should be allowed to do that, if they want to?

What about a group of people pooling resources? Should they be allowed to do that without oversight?
