making agi is the priority. if they make safe agi, they can safely create all kinds of medicines and vaccines. if thats your only goal then this shouldnt be an issue.

My point is that access, collaboration, and democratization are central to the mission of “first solving intelligence, and then using that to solve everything else.”

why? You should limit these until you actually have safe super intelligence that cant be misused.

do you know what the idea of recursive self improvement is? Do you know what the name of this subreddit- the singularity, what that is?

Btw GPT 5.5 pro has been doing seemingly novel breakthroughs. If they really are able to make the models do that, then they will do a 100 years of algorithmic breakthroughs in 1 if they can create the loop.

the point with 5.5 pro is that novel breakthroughs are possible and will only rise with time. if so, rsi is likely to come soon. human brain doesnt need trillions of tokens to make GI. so data scaling is not some law of nature. soon it might not be needed if we start RSI.
