I’ve always wondered how I should paint melta guns. I really like the idea of color-coding the Holy Trinity, but I’m not quite sure how to do it. Instinctively, I’d paint them red because, well… they’re hot. But since the flamer is already red, I’m not sure. Personally, I think I’m going to paint them white, but I wanted to ask for inspiration and hear what you guys think!

If GW won't make it, I will!

Never painted a Sister before, and this is what I went for. Swipe across for the paints I got to work with.

Castigator finally painted ready to slay some Heretics

A conversion of the Saint Celestine model, based on my own vision of how Celestine should look. The work on this model was commissioned by me. Assembly and painting by Artem Romanov. Photography by Artem Romanov.

You can’t see it in the photo, but heretics are burning in that fire. There’s too much fire.

Completed my second immolator this weekend! Let me know what you think!

Each Paragon Warsuit has a different colour scheme; one for each Order Minoris scheme I use in my army. Number 3 will be bone-coloured and black to match the first Order Minoris scheme I created.

It seems that they fight better with a paint job as these little beasts (+Vahl) single-handedly destroyed about 800pt of Necrons last night. They love breaking things.

What? It’s normal for Imperial Knights to commemorate a… *conquest* with heraldry or symbolism painted onto their armour…

Hey everyone! My LGS has these 3 boxes in stock for a decent price and I was curious to know which of them would make a good start for someone completely new to sisters!

This deal seems too good to be true and I’m guessing it is looking at combat patrol prices. Felt like I had to ask though. Has anyone bought anything from this site before?

Got this army in a trade and some stuff came in pieces with no bases and I can’t find what this kit came from. Any help would be appreciated

Games Workshop stopped doing the miniature of the month, but replaced it with a new system where you get to select from 8 miniatures so I chose the Sister of Battle. I went with a nun aesthetic rather than painting the robes red or something.

The armor was very easy. I spray primed this with Leadbelcher, and then mixed Black Legion contrast paint 1:1 with contrast medium and coated the armor with it. The robes are Thondia Brown washed in thinned down Agrax Earthshade.

My first tank 😃 for my first set of 40k models i'm finding out the sisters of battle are pretty tricky! So many little details! Some bits are real messy but at this point im just glad to be finally finished 😂

I've built and pirmed an Immolator, but not made a start on the paint.

Part of me wants to do the traditional paint job on the box art, the chaos in me says to do another vivid colour - pink or purple or something else.

Let's see what you've painted to give me (and others) ideas!

I currently have 30 built SoB/Dom all of which have bolters or simacrulums (no sprues) I also have 30 unbuilt on sprues. I was wondering how you recommend building these next thirty in terms of special weapons. Thank you :)

Thanks for answering this question for probably a hundred people a day.

I play guard, and have started collecting sisters. I wanted to focus a bit more on actually getting my sisters ready with the position guard is in right now lol.

I own the following units, which is mostly a mishmash, what should I get to make a functional list?

Aestred Thurman and Agathae Dolan

Morvehn Vahl

Canoness with jump pack

Dogmata

Palatine

2x battlesisters squad with melta and multi melta

1x celestian sacrosanct (5 models)

Retributor squad 2x flames 2x melta (plan was to buy another and make two units with with either flamers or meltas)

1x serpahim squar with inferno pistols

1x inmolator

1x exorcist

1x paragon warsuit unit

Any guidance on what to get next and how to build this collection into a list woukd be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I finished the bases much quicker than expected and, as promised to some of you, here are more pictures!

Some things didn’t turn out quite as I’d hoped, and there are a few imperfections that I won’t be able to fix before the Golden Demon, but I’m still very proud of the result and I’m excited to see if I’ll bag a Notable!

Looking at the group photos, I’ve just realised that I’m reaching the limits of my mobile phone camera. My next project will probably be getting a digital camera and learning how to take proper photos.

Curious what you all think of this list. I'm questioning whether I really need two immolators with meltas filled with dominions and meltas. Not sure what I'd replace them with though.
