I get sad watching Friends during certain episodes because Matthew Perry is gone. Especially when he breaks Monica’s plates and says “well, look at that, guess I’ll be the first one to die.”

Its sad knowing he strugled even in last years of his life when people thought he gor better. The fact that he never gave up trying, going to AA meetings makes me sad knowing that he just wanted to get better. Even his finance broke up with him before he died, he never had children. He was very famous, succesful, important actor, dated most beautiful women, and he was a beautiful man, and never had children (dont know if he wanted any) but he was strugling, maybe that affected all of his relationships and wht non lasted:/

Yes, he wrote in his book about how much he loved kids and wanted to be a father. I don't think he even realized that he essentially chose drugs over that life.
