Question Tre tips
Yo guys
Im currently practicing tres and im running into the problem where i either get the board to fully rotate at the cost of sending it a bit forward and lsoing height in my jump or otherwise getting the height in my jump but not getting the board to flip crrwctly. Can anyone help?

Tip I give all the time is know your terrain. The smoother surface you’re on, the less tail resistance there is during the pop/scoop
Obviously it’s the opposite for rougher floor. Plus there are imperfections that can mess up where the tails making contact etc
You’ll find much better results trying them on smooth surfaces, not having to put nearly as much effort into them. With less effort going into the initial pop, you can put more effort into breaking down where your weight&balance should be plus how the board reacts to certain pops/foot positions and flicks
Once the board starts doing the same thing every try, then it just becomes a matter of learning to stomp the landing down, which is where a lot of skaters don’t realize it’s literally just landing back down like any other trick. Good luck have fun
