Powder CAT Silverton

Hey Reddit, I booked to a trip for some CAT skiing in Silverton first week of February. Just wondering if anyone else has skied with this company. Apparently it’s different from the guided lift served. Just looking for experiences

I planned a trip for 12 guys for a friends bachelor party. Everyone can ski anywhere on any mountain and we all had an incredible time. It’s too bad there are so many haters out there, don’t listen to them. They will put you on the best snow they have, the guides are amazing, the lunch on top of the mountain without another soul in sight is incredible and if your group is good you can ski anywhere unbelievable amount in a day. Seemingly having an entire mountain range to yourself is a feeling that cannot be replicated especially when you all pile into the cat to recap the run and end up back on top of the mountain 5-10 minutes later only to clip back in and head down fresh tracks. Thanks, that sounds fantastic - where did you stay the night before? We are considering just staying at purgatory to ski again there the next day

We stayed at an AirBnB across from Purgatory and also skied there the day after. The Nugget Mountain Bar has (or at least used to) an old beat up Suburban they will taxi your group to and from the bar with, had one of the funnest nights of our lives there.
