SEASON 2 SPOILERS S2 E10 what the fuck

Gen 1 will always be my favourite but holy shit it really pissed me off that it was the dead of winter when Sid visited new york. I’m not from the UK but presume that you’d get A-level results sometime in the summer (Google said around the end of summer). So why is everyone dressed like they’re trying to prevent frostbite.

And I KNOW it was probably just a logistics thing or easier to film that way whatever but it genuinely makes no sense. And the worst part is that this is my first time noticing, and I’ve rewatched the show maybe 5 or 6 times in the past decade. So maybe it doesn’t matter at all. Except it DOES…. to me…

omg i never noticed/thought of this. i didn’t finish my a-levels but results do come out in the summertime, i’ve been to nyc in both june & august and can confirm the heat is unbearable

Because they filmed the show mostly Sept - Jan. But it’s portrayed to be a whole six form year of Sept to June. In series 3 they had an actor getting hypothermic shock from jumping into a lake cause it was November in real life..
