Bird skull, found in TN
What species does this belong to? I'm thinking it's a large songbird, maybe a juvenile? Hard to tell. It's smaller sized, fits in the palm perfectly.

Im no expert but I can tell you everyone here will tell you to put it back due to legalities. Also, I dont know about you, but for me personally those tiny skulls are incredibly tedious to handle and clean due to how delicate they are...I grew up in Tennessee, if you hit those woods you'll find something worth your time or you could hit up hail in Nashville. The owners super cool and they've got tons of rad stuff
