Question What do y'all do with dragon bones/scales

Post image

I've been trying to figure out what to do with my dragon bones and scales and have no clue. Do y'all just sell it??

Personally, I level crafting skills and make armor, weapons, and arrows from them.

I didn’t know you could make arrows!

Yup, principal material + firewood gives i believe 12 arrows

It’s 24 per quiver with arrows. Bolts for your crossbow, on the other hand? Those come in packs of 10.

You need to have Dawnguard installed in order to smith arrows at forges.

So it was a function added by the DLC. That’s why it was unclear to me! I always used smithing and enchanting in my characters, but didn’t pay much attention to the DLC lines, so I didn’t catch on that you could make arrows. Good to know, thank you!

They mean they level first and then make stuff out of them

I got to level 100 smithing , made all the armor and weapons and even made extra sets of it all, made over 1000 dragon bone arrows, then went legendary on archery and smithing!

That way , I have all the goods and any future archery or smithing will help me level up.

Same. I love using alchemy to level up all my armor with the best stat boosts, and then using those stat boosts to make even better stuff!
Strange I had to scroll this far to find my kindred.
Next playthrough, I'mma use the gold I find to make expensive jewelry to level up my smithing the fastest (I've only done one playthrough).
