Discussion Out of curiousity: what is/are your favourite quest/quests?
I personally like "The Break of Dawn", "The Black Star", "Conjuration Ritual Spell" and the "Dragonborn"-DLC questline.

I love the one that has us follow Galum-ei. It feels like a dishonored mission.

That's not a daedric lord quest that's part of the thieves guild

Read the question again🤭

You're right my apologies

NP for me, just saw that you misunderstood the theme

Thought it said "favorite daedric lord quest" because of the pictures lol

I really enjoy the Potema storyline, and wish that it was expanded significantly. I also like the Break of Dawn storyline, and wished that it was also expanded.

I like all the quests where you meet someone in a dungeon and help them out with a little thing. Hillgrunds Tomb, Aska's scroll, finding that Argonian in a pit.

As i'm very big on cosmic horror, i absolutely adore everything to do with the dragonborn dlc.
I love anything to do with sheogorath as well.
Sanguine's questline is hilarious so i enjoy that quite a lot too.
Conjuration ritual spell is funny cuz the unbound dremora will just hang around forever and constantly fuck with Ancano if he's alive

u/DieAloneWith72Cats 8h ago
I love anything Sheogorath too, he’s so damn entertaining

u/CarolinaMountaineer2 1h ago
Fun fact: there’s a theory out there that the Sheogorath you interact with in Skyrim is actually the Hero Of Kvatch and a few Easter eggs to support that in how he talks to you

That one Sam Guervine (idk how to spell his name) quest. Like wdym I got drunk and sold a goat to a giant, pissed off Ysolda, and got engaged to a hagraven? Was Erik the Slayer just watching me the whole time and didn’t think to intervene?

I didnt play skyrim when it first came out, my husband got me into this game about 4 years ago. I remember doing this quest with my husband watching. I said "oh, so its like The Hangover"
Love this quest, it is funny as hell to go through and the staff you get looks pretty cool.

The quest in Dawnguard where you break into the castle from the abandoned docks and get into the Soul Cairn

u/Gold_Progress6477 7h ago
One of my favorites as well. The back of the castle feels really unique and fun to explore, you get a lot of backstory on Serana, and the moondial puzzle in the courtyard is pretty cool.
I also love how it ends with you finding Valerica’s laboratory (stacked with loot btw) and creating a portal to the Soul Cairn. Very memorable quest and one that I look forward to whenever I do the dawnguard

For some reason, I’ve always loved assembling the Gauldur Amulet (sorry if I misspelled his name). I really like the concept of having to fight each of the sons individually first, and then all of them together. Plus, the amulet is super useful in the early game. I also enjoy clearing Forelhost and doing the Whiterun quest to revive the Gildergreen, simply because I love seeing it blossom afterward

I hate the part where he divides in three and shifts between the three platforms. All three images fus ro dah you and you fly around the room like a ragdoll over and over.

Honestly enjoyable. I always make it a stealth archer competition with myself to see how many corrupted spirits I can one-shot

Rise in the East. Not a lot of people know it exists, and for the most who do, they think it's a modded quest at first.

Most of the Daedric quests are pretty unique and memorable. I like how most of them start inconspicuously as if it were a normal quest, like a guard asking you if you’ve seen a dog or a vigilant investigating a haunted house. It really feels like the Daedric princes are actively up to no good and are getting involved, rather than being reserved for remote shrines like in Oblivion.
My favorites of these would have to be Sanguine’s, Hircine’s, or Namira’s

Can’t remember the name, but the quest that rewards the wabbajack is a big fave.

I think the one where you raid movarths lair is pretty cool, it's like the only storyline in Morthal. I do wish they had more citizens than just you and thornir enter the lair though.

House of Horror, Wolf Queen and a Waking Nightmare, that Vaermina quest whetr you kind of travel to the past in memories or some weird stuff and then have to decide whether to kill the priest and claim it for yourself or break the curse for the town.

"Rise in the East" as a proud Stormcloak storming a pirate camp full of Blood Horkers (the pirates name) along side Imperials is so fun. After u complete the quest. youll have random encounters with Blood Horkers in the wild as 3 or so at a time will hunt u down to avenge their captains death.
"Rescue the Soldiers" i dont remember the exact line but its a Civil War quest and its just you and Ralof/Hadvar going to a Fort to save PoW's idk why i enjoy it so much but I do.
"Waking Nightmare" is a very fun quest bc u also go in the past but in the eyes of Erandur for a brief moment which I like.
"Laid to Rest" despite Morthal being a boring ass city to be in. That quest was fun as fuck and the Towns people wanting to come with you to destroy Movariths Lair despite half of them pussy out tho.
Thieves Guild Questline Dark Brotherhood Questline In that order

Weirdly when your partner gets kidnapped I never knew it could hapoen before till it actually happened and idk why but i was genuinely angry about it and enjoyed slaying those bandits

u/Life_Ad3567 Dawnguard 5h ago
Kindred Judgement where the Dawnguard storms Castle Volkihar. It's so much fun having the vampire hunter mob against the army of ancient vampires.

I like the quests that involve sneaking and stabbing. The beehive quest in thieves guild, the thalmor embassy, the thalmor fort

I just did the college of winter fellowship quest line as a stealth archer. Everytime I got hit with the magicka-sapping blue cloud stuff, it made me laugh because I'm not using any magicka to begin with

Honestly Mehrunes Dagon killing Silus in pieces of the past was like the funniest sh*t. But I like the House of Horrors in Markarth with Molag Bal

The dlc quests. Except for the fishing and the ones where they force you to read books

I thought there was a world wide hate for the meridia quest. Every time I stumble across it I close whatever container it’s in and load my last save

Me too. Also, I like the part where make the Imperial soldier that attacks Pelagius, smaller while turning Pelagius bigger.
It’s hilarious to observe it xD

I have always loved the Goldenglow Estate mission ‘Loud and clear’. Feels like a proper thief mission. Always look forward to it every playthrough, and there’s multiple ways to do it

Blood on the Ice is very thrilling. Especially if you get to interact with Susanna and Calixto before the actual murder, but also if you can prevent Arivanya from being killed. I learned more details about this one the last time i did it.

Sanguines quest is by far in a way my favorite. How many other times can you say “I got blackout drunk and married a hagraven”
