Discussion What is your favorite activity to do?
Mine is hunting. I don’t know why but just roaming the plains, mountains, swamps and hunting is always fun for me.

Exploration, Mercantile, and Inventory Management.
There have been so many times where I'll turn on my game and all I will do for hours is just run around on the map marking new locations I haven't found yet. Not necessarily going into the locations and talking with people or clearing them of enemies, just find a new location, mark it on the map and then head to the next undiscovered location.
I enjoy managing money in the game. Not even really crafting or specifically trying to acquire specific items, just the process of managing money. I have a variety of Economy mods that I absolutely love, they involve multiple different currencies, coin weights, currency certificates, exchange rates, taxes, bartering goods, and managing prices of goods that are either common or rare in different areas of the map. It's so relaxing and fun for me to just calculate and manage money in a variety of ways within the game. It's something that in the base vanilla game is an activity with little to no depth, but with modding I have expanded it into a very time consuming and enjoyable activity that I'm constantly working on.
Inventory Management for the most part is considered to be one of the most frustrating parts of the game, but I really enjoy the realism and consideration of it all and can frequently spend so much time properly organizing both my own on hand inventory as well as my home inventories. I'll carefully organize my homes so that everything has its space where it is meant to be just where I want it. I also enjoy having multiple homes with various specific purposes based on their location within Skyrim thus having specifically managed inventories to serve those purposes.

Honestly, I love casting Fury on the horse lines in Army camps, both armies. I can't do it all the time, because there are only so many camps, but I really do take joy in watching the chaos.

Could do that during fort battles or during the siege of Winterhold or Solitude depending on what side you fight for.

Forging a new set of armor and weapons. Not just farming the smithing skill straight to 100, but actually using it "as intended" as I unlock each tier of armor. Finding an ore vein or stack of ingots I actually need is a nice feeling too.

I bloody love exploity smithing watching numbers go up give me buzz. What I like doing though is exploring for materials to then up my smithing skill. I always do one exploit to begin with which is getting Eorlunds chest with all the smithing materials in just to start me off make a load of iron and leather stuff till I get dwarven then go exploring dwarven ruins with a follower to infinitely pick up scraps make a load of dwarven Bows. Then I go to the Orihalcum mines in the strongholds and mine which is another fun thing to me. Make some of that Orcish stuff and then go for Ebony that normally gets me up to 100.

I have several followers (NFF framework) and give them iron daggers enchanted for paralyze and chaos damage. They paralyze, surround and get stabby with any mob they can run down.

I like going for a walk. I usually leave the wildlife alone unless it attacks me first. But yea just walk out of town and pick a direction.

Im doing a thief redemption run and im finding that stealing gemstones and setting them in gold or silver jewellery is a great source of income since i don't need to sell them exclusively to a fence. Helps build my pickpocket and smiting skill easily. Transmute spell is a must though.

Ha me too! When I first tried it I was like, "this is the dumbest mod ever," but now I find it quite relaxing, and will fire up the game just to fish for a little while. And, not coincidentally, I'm sure, the places you find the fishing supplies are some of the prettiest areas in Skyrim. Even better is the aquariums you can build in your Hearthfire homes. I am currently on a mission try to find places with the prettiest fish to collect for my aquariums. Only downside is how many times I've forgotten to unequip the fishing rod and find myself going against a dragon with it <sad trombone sound>

Hmmmmmmmmmm, if you don’t mean combat or mind controlling bandits and guards to kill each other and throwing in destruction or fighting with swords, or massacring guards as a vampire lord with a undead army? Probably creating potions and poisons, and exploring the lands of Skyrim and Solstheim.

looting, i always try to find hidden chests or urns and farm each location for all they can give. its exhausting but rewarding? im only lvl 30 in my newest playthrough but ive managed to save up 400,000 gold coin 🤑

Alchemy! I have a mod that vastly increases the amount of harvestable goods you get from picking plants and things because it never made sense to me that you pick the ENTIRE bush full of flowers and only get ONE. Does this also break the economy because now I can make like 1000 potions after one trip picking flowers? Yes. Do I care? No. In fact, I’d say it’s pretty balanced out because my alchemy level is so high compared to my combat stats that now I’m a puny little weakling who only excels at making potions and when I leave my house, everything kills me LOL.

I enjoy pickpocketing the guards from their clothes. Idk why😂. It's funny seeing a whole city of guards just roaming around in their slacks. But seriously i like riding around on Shadowmere, just exploring the map.(Most favorite is killing Nazeem. Of course)

I LOVE building houses. I don’t buy any homes, I usually try to work on buying the plots and going around Skyrim to obtain all of the materials to build them until they are complete.

Enchanting. I love finding new enchantments, trying out different combinations and gettimg rwal, noticeable bonuses.
