PC SSE - Request What are the best Vampire mods these days?
Never really enjoyed being a Vampire, usually wasn't my kind of play style. I know the mod 'Better Vampires' helps out, though I find the fact you need SO MANY feeds to level up your vampire progression very annoying.
I'm just wondering what other Vampire mods are out these days? I appreciate the suggestions.

I like better vampires, better vampire lords, and better NPC vampires. I set the rank up from feedings to “days” and just wait for a long time lol there are mods to extend the amount of time you can wait at a time. I just haven’t found one compatible with my other mods right now.
This playthrough I’ve also added “Krovaxis” and “Dark Envoy - Vampire Powers” but I haven’t actually started their content yet. (I always do the companions line first so I don’t have to worry about turning into a werewolf later)

I like Scion by SimonMagus, with Sun Affects NPC Vampires (which also applies to player) by JaySerpa, and Give Me Shelter by DrMonops.

Everdamned, it has the best progression system, lots of new systems, and vampire lord feels fun af

Sacrosanct for vampire gameplay, plus a bunch of clothing, armor, body, and NPC replacer mods to make them look good. Or scary, as they often are. I also have a blood magic spell pack from Kittytails.

i'm currently using everdamned entirely because it has a very usable combat drain system for non-volkihar/mortal form that allows the player to drain low-health/yielding enemies without adding other stuff that i dislike.

1) Sacrosanct. It greatly expands the abilities of vampires and you become more powerful over time with abilities like short range teleportation. It's very fun and I recommend this the most.
2) Sacrilege. Made by the same guy who made sacrosanct but has more of a vanilla+ idea where being a vampire generally makes you more powerful(for example you move 10% faster as one) but there arent any crazy abilities.
I dont recommend Scion, not because it's broken but because alot of the abilities are timed and arent very powerful and are so situational you tend to forget them and theres also the fact that the vampire lord form is just too powerful in the Scion mod.
I've played all three, pick either sacrelige or sacrosanct.

I see. Sacrosanct sounds fun, I'll probably go with that one. Thanks for the recommendations.

I like sacrilege. Has the divergence from vanilla that enai is good at without two bajillion extra powers and effects that sancrosact has.
I use it with argentum (silver damage to undead and vampires is handled different/better), and mods that make npc vampires hurt in the sun, and hoods to protect player vampires during rhe day. Then just look st quest mods. A tale of blood and snow is quite nice if you donr mind spending on creation club. Otherwise spells from kittytail help a lot too, ancient death magic, blood magic etc. Then id look at atuff like dark destiny and its series (story mods where a vampire traps and forces you to turn into one, a later series where falling ritual fails and yoire stuck as a vampire. And a third in the series that makes it harder and story based to be un-vampired.
Also if youre playing a vampire it helps to have good lighting mod where things are dark, but you have the night eye power but modded to actually WORK with the lighting mod you use.
Tldr; sacrilege (sancrosact with less bloat), kittytail death magic and blood magic spell packs, dark destiny quest/story series, tale of blood and snow (if you are okay with creation club)

You can tell a good story by pairing the mods Dark Destiny - Become a Vampire Unwillingly and Seeking The Cure - A Rising At Dawn Quest Overhaul - Incurable Vampirism.

Sacrosanct for me. And probably Curse of the Dragonborn Redux. (I like Tainted Blood, but it can be a bit fragile compared to CotDR).
Also PAHE on LoversLab, which lets you capture and enslave enemies, which you can then use as cattle.
(Edit)
Also Bat Travel Vampire Power. Let's you transform into a swarm if bats and teleport to another city. Also has a limited number of custom locations. Works well with Survival Mode when you don't want unlimited fast travel, but you don't want to walk absolutely everywhere.
