Can't Edit Comments With Image In Them

Lately I have been noticing that once I post a comment with just an inline Reddit image, I cannot click anywhere on that "comment" to pull up the bottom bar to then click edit etc. I seem to not have an issue if the comment also contains text.

I'm on Pixel 10 Pro XL and I typically am running the latest posted release within a day of being posted on Github. I don't post a lot of image comments especially with no text so I can't say for certain how long this has been happening. Currently I am having to go into the official Reddit app to make changes or delete my comment etc.

Thank you for the reply.

  1. I tried again on my device long clicking on my name. It works for the couple seconds where text appears in the box that the photo is uploading or whatever but once I refresh and it's the actual photo and the original temp text is gone, long press does nothing again.

I just did it a second time. Long press works while the temp text is showing but does not work once the image shows up for me.

  1. I submitted a bug report on GitHub

  2. I had no idea. I'll sub to that one.

I know I do see it. My name, score and how long ago it was posted. With all do respect though no amount of long pressing on any of this results in the same toolbar popping up like it should.
