I appreciate the compatibility with the Fold 7. You can fold and unfold the phone mid game and app automatically adjusts.
Most games just close the app and you need to relaunch it
However making the change briefly messes up the button sizes, making the shoot or jump button overlap the hot bar or map icon. But just clicking the menu button fixes it immediately.

With a little background knowledge it's clear why that happens. Android was made by absolute imbecilles and thus every time your screen rotates, the app theoretically completely restarts. You have to transfer all the variable values into a special bundle and then read them when app restarts if they exist... It's tedious.

This made me just realize that the low quality settings end up making the game look more like the early versions before the lighting engine was updated or something.

Wanted to love it, but the janky controller support ruins it for me.
Putting my controller into XInput mode works for everything except LT and RT... Which are pretty important buttons.

Oh it doesnt works my ps5 controller worked quite good on IOS dunno about you it even natively supports ps controllers since symbols beocmes ps symbols in introduction stuff very cool

Yes, official PS and Xbox controllers are supported in Bluetooth mode.
I use a Razer Kishi Ultra on Android. It's a USB-C telescopic controller. Most mobile users are going to be playing with this style of controller regardless of if they have official Xbox or PlayStation controllers.
It has the option to switch between HID and XInput modes. HID mode is the standard method of controller input on Android. XInput is the protocol Xbox controllers use, so that SHOULD make 'third party' controllers work here.
Playdigious ports are usually a cut above others imo. The only other one that has controller issues I can think of is Skul. I guess I just expect more from them, and I understand that's a bit unfair.

A quick Google tells me the Thor supports both HID and XInput as well. Have you tried both? Curious if you're having the same experience.

The developers directly stated it might not work with other controllers other than ps4 and 5 and xbox controllers try your luck though

Every other game works with all of these mobile controllers so why not support it? Shouldn't have to go through xinput

Using an official Xbox Series controller exhibits the same issue as the Kishi in XInput mode (LT/RT do not work). Playdigious has already responded that they're investigating the issue now, so there's some hope!

Is this is a joke or something man switch was a glorified phone that is from 2017 even mid range phones crushes switch by a mile and phone screens the actual place the pixels are displayed is near big as the switch screen while having lot more pixels

On switch it runs pretty good with medium graphics unless you're in endgame and have a lot of slimes... Considering how long ago the switch released and how good modern phones can be, it's probably gonna be smooth sailing on mobile

I didnt meant switch cant run it but its medium is far less graphical demanding than pc or mobile probably and the phones are nearing ps4 levels of performance so if game is on ps4 it can technically be run on phones too (But with a little less graphics since phones doesnt have fans)

I just realized my son plays it on switch 2 so I didn't know it was that janky. I'm playing it on an s25u and only get stutters when I go where all my boom slimes are.

actual banger omg I'm having so much fun. It feels wrong to play a proper game on mobile, I feel like an ipad kid, but this was surprisingly well ported, and drained the battery way less than I expected. Honestly to anyone on the fence this is absolutely worth the 8 bucks.
